Nintendo DS Lite Pikachu Yellow LE... Would you buy it?

This LE DS is very rare and hot in the market right now. There's also a small Pikachu picture on the bottom right of the DS console.

Should be noted that out of all the NDS LE consoles (Love and Berry{coral pink}, Final Fantasy iii{pearl white}, Winning Eleven {black onyx}, etc) this is the only one with it's own original colour.

Also, it's about $300 USD consistantly on eBay... I was so close to getting one, but I ended up buying a Metallic Rose instead.

Your thoughts?

Actually yes I would. The pikachu isn't that large and that's a good thing.

I had a pokemon edition GBC and I was ashamed to play that in public, but I'd use that DS.

I think if the price was $240 shipped I would have chosen this one over the Metallic Rose, but considering this item would most likely to be customed by the post office (since the worth is so high), I couldn't afford to risk it.

That color looks okay, but I wouldn't buy it for more than what a regular DS lite costs.

I honestly don't think they'll ever release the japanese exclusive colours to North America.

The marketing in Japan is quite different from the states, that's why you don't see exclusive consoles or LE editions that often here. Typically it's the japanese consumers and a few others (like myself) who are in the console-collecting hobby and are extremely gullible to any variations to a console we already own.

That's why we'll never see something the Crisis Core Limited Edition White PSP or The Pikachu Yellow NDS in store shelves. Only some exceptions like the Halo 3 XBOX 360 and the Brain Age 2 bundle...

It's a shame, really... :(

No it was blue and yellow and it had a pokeball by the power switch, a pikachu to the left and to the right a jigglypuff and togipi

lime green is being released in the UK along with red an turquoise,

Well if all you wanted was the look of a custom ds color and didn't care about the pikachu emblem, you can get that done at Colorware(google it or check youtube). You send them your current DS and they do a profesh paint job for 99 bucks. You can mix/match colors as well for the different parts of the DS(buttons, stylus, ect.) and NO, I don't work for them...just been thinking of coloring mine for some time now so thought i'd share.

on ebay i seen them for £113 which is $223 in us i dont think this 2 bad as not much more than a black, white or silver one BUT i dont trust the people selling them there feedback isnt great and people have complained about games being fakes etc which put me off as i was realli considering getting one but i think i'll buy a UK lite and get a skin for it... :)

I wouldnt trade in my current DS for another one and lose like $50-70.

Didn't think Japan was getting the Green one. All i've seen is for the Euro market so far.

Now for only $160 on EBay, this is one I could definitley pick up. 8)

I like the yellow one actually. If my black DS died on my any time soon I'd get a limited edition one if I could. But I like the new colours of DS to hit the UK soon so I might be tempted to get a red one.
