Nintendo Ds Lite yellow tint

Hey,

I'm from Poland, I want buy Nintendo DS lite, but I read about "yellow tint" on touchscreen.

1 Are models manufactured in 2008 good and without this problem?

2. Can I read on box when was my console manufactured? (is this information on box?)

3. I don't want get this problem, because in Poland Nintendo DS lite is expensive... Where i should buy my handheld? (Is Media Markt good shop?)

The only time you'll notice it, is at the intro screen where it is completely white. While in game you wont notice.

I think that the yellow tint was only in the first year or so of the ds lite's life.

OK, tomorrow I will buy DS lite onyx black. I hope my DS will be working properly.

Your DS is fine because u bought it 2 years ago... Yellow tinted toychscreen is problem new models of ds lite... Nintendo bought "new" screens and they are badly, becouse they are cheaper.

But it isn't noticeable at gaming.

Yellow tint? I've never heard or seen of it...definitely don't have it. I wouldn't worry if I were you.garathe_den
