I am.....disapointed. I like challenging games. At least we still have the big three and some others.

"There is no point in making a difficulty level the fun factor of a game," He said"We are making Super Mario Galaxy as a new and fun experience which aims at providing a very appealing, convincing and-before all-fun experience. If we managed to do so, then I'm sure even the core gamers will find it appealing."

That sounds pretty good to me. :|

so far the only core games that are coming soon or already and made by Nintendo are SPM, Zelda, MP3, SMG, SSBB, and Mario Kart. That's just my opinion...i guess that's an ample amount , but I want em now :(

He ment that he wants to make games thar are easy for anyone to play, and that can please both audiences. He doesnt want games to be extremely challanging, and he wants games to be what they are: Fun

well maybe nintendo wants the "hardcore gamer" to finish the games quick so they can go and DO something, which would also explain the MOTION sensor, so kids DO something

Well im kinda both casual and core in a way. I dont spend 24-7 playing games (I have a life), but yet when there is a game that is fun for me i get into the game. SSBB for example, this is what makes me a core gamer. When this game is released...I prob wont be doing nething and playing 24-7, and if it is online...i wont have a life. I have faith in Nintendo. They are pretty much the godfather of gaming, capiche:P

I'm not afraid to say that Nintendo's comments of late are starting to worry me. They are kind of starting to move in the opposite direction of my gaming tastes and habits. Still, I have been playing Nintendo games for a long time and will continue to do so. I just hope there current trend of oversimplifying everything doesn't carry over into whatever they do from here on out.

I've wanted Nintend to put seperate difficulties in their games for a long time now. I know that have sperate CCs and Mirror mode in double dash and dificulties in the MP games and sport games, but for games like Mario and Zelda, they're really only moderatly hard the 1st time because I don't know what to expect. I have to resort to 3 heart runs and other choices that I make in order to raise the difficulty myself.

You know there is a difference between casuals and nongamers. Like I have said a million times, casual gamers are those who love blood and guts in their games, graphics over gameplay, and love Madden and GTA. Nongamers are grandparents, little kids and middle aged adults who dont usually touch controllers.

And no Nintendo is still with the hardcore because one of the greatest games of all time is coming out this month and it is MP3....................
