Nintendo Fusion Leak ??????

I am really angry and upset with Nintendo, If they are producing another console y i grew up playing Nintendo games and recently bought my son the Wii u for Christmas, He loves it so much especially playing the Mario games but now it really annoys me now that we've only had this Wii u for a few months and already am hearing rumors of them making a new console, i just feel ripped off now i was gonna buy Mario kart 8 but cant be bothered supporting Nintendo anymore not after this leaked info on the internet, i can only hope the is not true then i will be happy.

Don't believe rumors. Also, don't create user names just to bitch about something that's untrue to a bunch of strangers.

It's not true and those rumors are old. A new console may be in the works but most likely won't be seen for a good 5-6 years or more

Not that it matter a whole lot, just want to point out that account was made all the way back in 2006, so I doubt he just made it for this particular purpose. Dude must be a master lurker or someone who decided they wanted to use an account they made years ago..

I would take it with a grain of skepticism. It wouldn't help commenting on a rumor that hasn't really come about and shown any real evidence of itself. Like many have said, the 3DS and Wii U systems are not forever, expect something like the fusion terminal and the fusion ds.

Nintendo is always making their next console, its been that was sine the NES, they cant stop or the company dies. Though it wont be out for 5-6 years so calm down. And these rumors are fairly old now.

i don't know what it is or what will happen but it's literally just rumour and speculation at this point. although to be honest for them to start coming up with new console ideas now is a smart move, the Wii U's dying down pretty quickly, and apart from the surge of popularity it might get with Mariokart 8, it's not doing very great. By thinking of ideas for the future ahead of time it gives them a lot of time to think about things. I wouldn't say to "best the competition" because i've never considered Nintendo to be in the same 'battle' as Sony and Microsoft anyways, but my point is, it doesn't matter. If they're starting work on a new console, great, if not, doesn't matter xD

You clearly aren't educated much in terms of internet rumors. Why on earth would you even believe that BS rumor that was debunked months ago? Didn't it say the next DS would have like 128GB flash memory? That alone should have been your red flag. That rumor was that Nintendo was making a third new platform and that ended up being their QOL platform which will debut in 2015. No Wii U or 3DS successor on the horizon.

All you had to do was do a little bit more googling on that rumor to probably see dozens of comments by individuals proving how false that rumor was instead of getting so worked up about nothing. At the earliest there may be a new console in 2016 but no earlier, probably 2017. Nintendo consoles typically last 5-6 years, even when they sell bad.

You have no idea what you're talking about if you believe it. 128GB game cards for the next DS? 128GB flash memory is like $100 right now and won't be below $50 for years. BlueTooth and 3G are not things Nintendo would put in it anyway. Also, 3G would raise the cost a lot and Nintendo recently said the "days of 20,000 yen" handhelds may be over. Meaning they aren't looking to launch a 3DS successor that is over $200 at launch.

Don't even start on the Fusion Terminal BS. Cable Card? Are you kidding me? Supports 4 Wii U Game Pads despite the fact that the Game Pad costs like $80 per controller to make? Coaxial Cable input? 3DS card slot? HVD discs? Also that BS rumor said it would have 60 flash or 300 GB flash memory when flash memory isn't distributed like that, its distributed in (usually) in intervals of 8, i.e. 64GB or 256GB.

it only takes a moderate understanding of these specs to see how fake they are. And the fact that Nintendo says they won't release $200 handhelds or $300 consoles says something about cost for these devices. Not to mention the fact that they're releasing a QOL platform in 2015, meaning a new handheld or console has to be pushed until 2016 and 2017. They won't launch both devices in the same year most likely. I know GBA and GCN both came out in 2001 but GCN was originally aiming for a 2000 release for the delay

Of course a new console's in the works, Nintendo would be stupid not to be thinking ahead. It's been in the works since before the Wii U hit the shelves. WHEN it hits the shelves is another matter entirely though. Nintendo's stupid sometimes, but I don't think they're so dumb they're going to piss off people who've given them their trust with their dollar towards the Wii U.

Though the way they're being managed nowadays, nothing would really surprise me....

You said, literally, "something like Fusion Terminal and Fusion DS". So I just went on and debunked how the next DS and console literally won't be like Fusion Terminal or Fusion DS. You didn't say that you meant a new device in general, your statement implied that you thought those specs would roughly come true.
