I guess most of us wanted Nintendo land to come with the Wii U console just like Wii sports did in 2006. I wouldn't pay full price for this game and I can't see it selling well at all. Don't get me wrongI love Nintendo and plan to get pikmin 3 & super mario bros U. Nintendo land should be included with the console to get everyone together and learn how the gamepad works in lots of ways. Thoughts guys

Big mistake by Nintendo here, don't understand why someone will pay full price for a game that is simply used to show off the function of the game-pad. It makes no sense whatsoever that they would do this, if the game is supposed to show off the potential of the console then why would you not package it?

...

I don't see anywhere on there that it is a sold seperate title. Imo, Amazon is only assuming that it is a sold seperat retail game. Also if this is true, I might still get it, looks like a great game for parties, or family get togethers.

That article doesn't confirm anything. But if it is seperate and it turns out to be a solid party game, then I'll get it. Good party games are hard to come by these days.

Nowhere in that link does it confirm that it will not be bundled. Notice the big question mark they had at the end of their heading? The listing is just another placeholder if anything.

In any case, I wouldn't buy Nintendo Land separately at full price if it wasn't bundled.

Agreed. Also, I'm pretty sure Wii Sports was listed as a separate title at several retailers before the announcement of the Wii date and price (which included the info that it would be packed in).

Nobody will buy this game unless it's packed in, not even crazy fans like myself.

This needs to be packed in with the system. It's the perfect Tech demo.

People have got to stop taking these listings as confirmations of things, they don't mean anything. Keep in mind Wii Sports was packed in for the US and EU while it was sold separately in Japan.

If this game is not bundled with the Wii U then I probably won't play this game at all.

The link doesn't confirm anything.

Anyway, I won't buy Nintendo Land separately unless it has more content to it. $50 (or even $60) for the game is just not worth it for the 12(?) games on it unless they pull a Wii Play and bundle it with a controller or something. I'd like to get it because it looks like a decent party game, but I can't justify paying full price.

Totally agree, but the article itself is in no way a confirmation of such a thing. I still more confident than not that Nintendoland will be a game bundled in with the Wii U. Otherwise, I think it significantly hurts the success of both products.

It will be packed in. Packing it in will allow Nintnedo to charge more for the console. It simply makes more sense to do so.

Ignoring this link as anything near substantial information and moving onto a more general subject that is:

Nintendo needs software to be packed with the Wii U. Wii Sports helped sell the Wii fantastically, it looks like Nintendo Land will do the same if bundled. I would also think it would be smart to pack one downloadable game onto the system as well. As in a game that basically guides non focused (casual) gamers to download games as much as buy them on retail.

I'm just happy to see that the majority of people here actually clicked the link and read the article. The site actually did a decent job of presenting the story in such a way that it's clearly just an obscure find and nothing official. Can't say the same for the topic creator here, though.

In my opinion, I seriously can't see them NOT packaging this game with the Wii U, I mean one of the reasons Wii sold so well was that it was packaged with Wii sports. It would be unwise for Nintendo not to do this again with Nintendoland, especially with Wii U being a totally new concept. It will give gamers a good introduction into the full functionality of the Wii U gamepad, as well an insight of what may be possible in games to come. It's a perfect oportunity for Nintendo to justify a profitable pricetag for them as a compay but also a reasonable one for gamers who will pay it (whatever the price is) knowing they also get a first party game free.
