Yeah, but like Jaysonguy said, MMORPG's just don't work on consoles. Phantasy Star Online works, but IDK, on the Wii Network it might be weird (LoL instead of usernames you see numbers all over the place.........wait I forgot you make a username -_-). Bass7
Ah, but as Madden demonstrated, third-party developers don't actually HAVE to use the FC system.
- more online games
- less 3rd party crap
- less minigame packs
- a decent fps
- a decent rpg
- less pricey accessories
- more inventive uses of the wiimote
- revamped online user interface
yeah, feel free to add any more...

Which is the sad thing, really
shooters and rtsdeadmeat59
they should make a new wii with like 20gig harddrive for like 300$and call the old wii core system
... nvm, i have the old wii =[
Wii needs better games.... period.
I'd love to see another Phantasy Star Online game on a Nintendo platform though. Of course, as long as it was actually better than the crappy game that is Phantasy Star Universe, and as long as it didn't have a subscription fee. Honestly, PSU was probably the biggest rip-off "MMO" that I've ever seen... not worth a single penny of what I paid for it.
Anyway, yeah,MMORPG's on Wii FTW! :P
There would need to be a much larger harddrive on the Wii.nintendofreak_2
For PSO, it really wouldn't. (remember, PSO was originally designed for the DC,and later ported to the GCN. Neither of these had HDDs)
In general, it would need a HDD in the first place. (The Wii uses a Flash Drive, which, unlike Hard Drives, aren't very good at caching)
Headset & Keyboard support!!!
To cover ALL genres (FPS, Strategy, Action, and RPG)
to make friend codes optional (they're great for parents but horrible for adults)
Punch Out
Ready 2 Rumble
some type of Chrono Trigger or Chrono Cross game
to constantly reach back and renew NES & SNES hits
Earthworm Jim Wii
...Keyboard support!!!...
waw003
USB keyboard support is there as of the last major patch. Now we just need the developers (at least Opera) to support it.
Nintendo needs some kind of awesome fighting game On Wii.
Some sort of fighting game that made a more precise use of the Wii-mote and NunChuk to allow for a realistic fighting experience (NunChuk... That just BEGS to be put in a fighting game). Like, holding the Wiimote or Nunchuk vertically andmoving the Wiimote forwardwould performa regular punch, while pointing the Wiimote or Nunchuk at the screen and moving your hand forwardwould innitiate a fingertip blow. Swinging the Wiimote in a wide arc would allow you to perform a wrist bash aimed at the opponents skull, shoulder, or backbone. Holding Z or B while moving your hand forward would cause your character to attempt to grab the opponent's arm. Holding A or C would allow you to block incoming blows.
Those are just some of my control ideas for an awesome Wii Fighter. Also, maybe some kind of specialized foot or shin controller to allow you to simulate martial arts like Savate or Muay Thai.
Nintendo needs to add a DVD channel to the wii!Lightchaos
Would never work. It's a hardware issue. (and even if it were just a software issue, there are royalties that would have to be paid)

It's a software issue. But yes, royalties would have to be paid- ~$20 per unit- so it's unlikely.
Nintendo needs EARTHBOUND on Wii. It also goes to the point of Nintendo needing the real nostalgia inducing games on the Virtual Console. I'm talking Contra, Kid Niki, Mario 3, Chrono Trigger, etc. Everyweek (or wiik if you prefer)we (or wii if you prefer) get one mediocre game and two filler games. When something like Punch-Out or Super Mario World is released, it is marketed like a gift from the Almighty. I expect those top tier titles (alliteration anyone?) and a robust library of retro titles, because that's how the virtual console wasmarketed beforehand. Now, in practice, for some reason I can play Contra on Xbox Live, but not on the Wii. Gimme some truth, Nintendo.clever_moniker
I agree with you completely, but somehow I don't think Chrono Trigger would ever make it to VC or any Square/Enix game for that matter. If they were released it would hurt their business of releasing remakes for all their old games.
Having a MMO like WoW on the Wii would bring a whole lot more people to the Wii. No other console has made one yet on the Current-Gen consoles. Although, the Wii would need a hard drive to make it happen... *Sigh* kid_rock995
No, the wii wouldn't need a hard drive. The GC had an MMORPG and that has the tiniest memory card, and the wii has 512MB
An RPG where you have to travel across many of Nintendo's worlds. The Mushroom Kingdom, Hyrule, Brinstar etc. Im suprised it hasnt been done yet actually.darkshadow64
that would be so great.

PSO didn't have the regular updates common to modern MMORPGs.

Which is exactly my point. MMORPG's don't need regular updates.

The regular updates give the games more replay value.
