Nintendo needs to start getting Multiplayer online adventure and online Coop Games on the Wii like Phantasy Star Online. They should also Create a Totally new adventure game that can be played online with friends from the same console as well as be played with people around the world. They can just make insane Bosses for the Online mode that almost can't be defeatedwithout a group, yet have them be able to be defeated in single player if your level is high enough. And thoughts or suggestions?

Any kind of MMORPG is awful on the consoles.

There's a reason why WOW just said they weren't going to have the title touch anything in console form.

Maybe one day we'll see it but it wont be this generation.

I'm not sure about that. Phantasy Star Online was pretty awesome on Consoles. WOW might not have been but that's just one game. By the way Nintendo is going, they could easily pull off a great online MMORPG, especially if they personally create it because then they would feel the need to perfect it. They could pull off online tactical games as well. C&C online would fit the Wii perfectly.

That is completely true. The Wii does need more memory badly. Maybe we'll see an expansion pack similar to the one for the N64. Maybe.

PSO should come to wii. It was a fun game on the GC but not many people had a GC online not many people played it online.

If it was remade on wii it could finaly get the online community it deserved in the first place.

Yeah, but like Jaysonguy said, MMORPG's just don't work on consoles. Phantasy Star Online works, but IDK, on the Wii Network it might be weird (LoL instead of usernames you see numbers all over the place.........wait I forgot you make a username -_-).

I agree with that 100%. Thus the reason I said PSO out of all the MMORPG's. Ha!!!!! Seeing FC's over everybody's heads would blow bigtime.

Nintendo needs EARTHBOUND on Wii. It also goes to the point of Nintendo needing the real nostalgia inducing games on the Virtual Console. I'm talking Contra, Kid Niki, Mario 3, Chrono Trigger, etc. Everyweek (or wiik if you prefer)we (or wii if you prefer) get one mediocre game and two filler games. When something like Punch-Out or Super Mario World is released, it is marketed like a gift from the Almighty. I expect those top tier titles (alliteration anyone?) and a robust library of retro titles, because that's how the virtual console wasmarketed beforehand. Now, in practice, for some reason I can play Contra on Xbox Live, but not on the Wii. Gimme some truth, Nintendo.

Definitely a hard drive or an update that allows the Wii to use the larger SD cards.

Ah, but as Madden demonstrated, third-party developers don't actually HAVE to use the FC system.

They should make some sort of chat system with friends on the Wii online. More use put into the Console only friend codes.... since we still got lame single game FCs...

Wii needs better games.... period.

I'd love to see another Phantasy Star Online game on a Nintendo platform though. Of course, as long as it was actually better than the crappy game that is Phantasy Star Universe, and as long as it didn't have a subscription fee. Honestly, PSU was probably the biggest rip-off "MMO" that I've ever seen... not worth a single penny of what I paid for it.

Anyway, yeah,MMORPG's on Wii FTW! :P

For PSO, it really wouldn't. (remember, PSO was originally designed for the DC,and later ported to the GCN. Neither of these had HDDs)

In general, it would need a HDD in the first place. (The Wii uses a Flash Drive, which, unlike Hard Drives, aren't very good at caching)

Headset & Keyboard support!!!

To cover ALL genres (FPS, Strategy, Action, and RPG)

to make friend codes optional (they're great for parents but horrible for adults)

Punch Out

Ready 2 Rumble

some type of Chrono Trigger or Chrono Cross game

to constantly reach back and renew NES & SNES hits

Earthworm Jim Wii

USB keyboard support is there as of the last major patch. Now we just need the developers (at least Opera) to support it.

Nintendo needs any type of online game as soon as possible, period. The Wii has been here since last November and all they have to show for online gaming is three games. Pitiful. They need a headset, they need matchmaking and they can really do with out friend codes.

Nintendo needs some kind of awesome fighting game On Wii.

Some sort of fighting game that made a more precise use of the Wii-mote and NunChuk to allow for a realistic fighting experience (NunChuk... That just BEGS to be put in a fighting game). Like, holding the Wiimote or Nunchuk vertically andmoving the Wiimote forwardwould performa regular punch, while pointing the Wiimote or Nunchuk at the screen and moving your hand forwardwould innitiate a fingertip blow. Swinging the Wiimote in a wide arc would allow you to perform a wrist bash aimed at the opponents skull, shoulder, or backbone. Holding Z or B while moving your hand forward would cause your character to attempt to grab the opponent's arm. Holding A or C would allow you to block incoming blows.

Those are just some of my control ideas for an awesome Wii Fighter. Also, maybe some kind of specialized foot or shin controller to allow you to simulate martial arts like Savate or Muay Thai.

It's a software issue. But yes, royalties would have to be paid- ~$20 per unit- so it's unlikely.

While some innovative RPGs would be cool (and I bet they will be coming soon) there is one all time favorite Genesis game I'd like to see them bring to their online store: Mutant League Football. Unfortunately I don't know if EA would ever agree to re-release it but I'm sure a lot of die-hard fans (and maybe some who heard of it and love the idea of tearing up refs and shoving opponents into fire pits) will pick it up quickly. There's probably tons of classic games that have followings like this one; Nintendo just needs to put them out there and I'm sure the fans will eat them up!

I agree with you completely, but somehow I don't think Chrono Trigger would ever make it to VC or any Square/Enix game for that matter. If they were released it would hurt their business of releasing remakes for all their old games.

I think the Wii needs more games exactly like Resident Evil 4, haha not to promote rip-off remake games but I would just about kill for remakes of the whole RE series with RE4 gameplay, and imagine a game like Mega Man Legends on the Wii, nunchuk control and WiiMote buster-blasting, now that would be cool. I'm not big on MMO games so I could care less about that, but having some rad RPG's with something like a Wii-mote gesture to cast spells and to generate attack combos would be just what the doctor ordered. Also, Wii Castlevania??! Imagine cracking the whip on skeletons and flicking the remote to toss axes and knives, so much potential that may never see the light of day, what a shame.

The regular updates give the games more replay value.
