Nintendo NEEDS a Notification Update on WiiU

A simple notification that shows on the Gamepad whenever the home button flashes blue to let you know if it's just someone getting on the WiiU, if you got a notification in MiiVerse or if someone left you a message. If it's a message, you can read the message IN GAME.

I'm kinda tired of having to stop the game I'm playing when I get a home button notification only to realize that it was someone just turning on their WiiU.

Also It'd be much easier if I didn't have to pause the game (Considering if I'm not online) then go into MiiVerse everytime someone left me a message.

Yeah that's true. The 3DS has it. Hopefully they can update that soon.

You would figure this would be a good use for the Gamepad screen.

How doesn't it..? That's an ancient feature in gaming by now..
