Nintendo, Please Step It Up!

Alright guys. I love my Wii as much as the next person but I'm sick of seeing these awful titles being put on the shelves. For example, EA Playground. Is this a joke or something, Nintendo is being so "kiddy" with their games. I understand that SSBB, Super Mario Galaxy, and all the EA Sports games will be coming soon, but what is it after that?

When I first got my Wii I was thinking that there would be a boat load of FPS's. Well I'm yet to see more than 2 good ones. The only ones that I have enjoyed was Call of Duty 3 and RE:4.

To the MODS: In this thread I'm not trolling or doing this to make anybody feel bad, I'm just seeing if other people agree with me and what their thoughts are on this subject.

So what do you guys think?

Well you will have to excuse them for not going cheap and having a million shooters, just because the Wii is suited for it. Also Nintendo doesnt produce much in the shooter range outside of Metroid, so its not up to nintendo to produce these shooters.Sepewrath

Sorry that I put RE:4 under FPS. But you listed RE:UC, it's a damned rail shooter... What fun is that?

I wasnt reffering to the fun. I was talking aboutperople idiotically say every game for the Wii is "kiddy"

and Im sure that RE will make a rail shooter good, one way or another.

Seriously.. whats the point of this thread... Maybe take a small look at the Upcoming games list... But please don't annoy me with the useless threads... If you don't like the games.. stop complaining and buy a 360..

Nintendo always has and always will have the "kiddiest" console. That's just their style. Nintendo wants to make consoles and games that can be enjoyed by anyone. They make games that a family can play together, not games that offend people and kids hide from their parents. That's just not Nintendo. Nintendo leaves the mature titles up to third parties, and so far a few have taken the initiative. But since the Wii is aimed at the family, don't ever expect to see as many mature titles for it as are on the 360 or PS3. If this bugs you, well, you're not alone... but don't expect it to change. You should have known from Nintendo's track record that most of the Wii library would be family friendly.

No you didn't. You wanted to show off your laziness to look for games and cause a little trouble over here which is why you had to hand out that cop out to the Mods here at the end.

We've seen threads like this dozens of times in this forum, and none of them end up good. And this one is no different already. Maybe a blog entry would be a better idea.
