Although I do have to wonder: why is #5 the N64 Smash Bros.? With Smash Bros. Brawl out, why do people want that version too?

I can see why Nintendo might be hesitant in releasing any Mother game stateside, but this poll should hold a lot of weight. Americans want Mother! I want Mother!

REASON:

Once it is released on the Japanese VC then it will go to the US VC. Unfortunately MOTHER 1+2 is STILL selling like crazy over Japan. Once it stops selling and it is out of production EB is going to the VC and then to the US! Got it?! That is the main reason we haven't seen EB on the Shopping Channel!

I think that Nintendo realizes that the Wii still has a few more good years it, so they purposefully put it off untill interest starts to wane and then GASHUNK! they rope us right back in again.

It was originally a Snes game but they compiled them into a GBA cart, which apparently is still selling like hotcakes. Hotcakes I tell's ya

That's not even the point. What the originally quoted poster is suggesting is that the GBA game Mother 1+2 is still selling well in Japan. This would make Nintendo hesitant to put either game out on the VC since they already make sales on the GBA game.

I'd like to see some sort of confirmation on this, seems like speculation. Also, doesn't make too much sense since it would cost more money to produce carts for the GBA than a digital download.
