Unfortunally it said this.

Although we appreciate your interest in sharing your great ideas with us, I am sorry to say that we are unable to pass along or accept unsolicited ideas for legal reasons.

I personally think this was just a nice way to say they didnt like myidea  (JK)

Oh well, I tried and at least I might have given them an idea for a character for the next Smash Bros.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Mii's Special Move set + FS

and Smash Moves

Special: Baseball Bat - With the baseball bat Mii can reflect projectiles. The longer you charge up the baseball bat the stronger and faster you reflect projectiles. He can also do damage with the bat.

Up Special: Tennis Serve - Mii tosses a tennis ball in the air, shortly after doing so the Mii jumps up to spike the ball. This works as Miis recovery move with great vertical range and poor horizontal range. Anyone who touches the ball or Mii (when jumping to spike ball) get damage.

Side Special: Golf - With this move Mii hits a golf ball to inflict damage. You can charge it up to make the golf ball fly faster, farther, and stronger. You can also be damaged by the golf club when Mii swings it.

Down Special: Bowling Ball & Basketball- In this move Mii will bring out a either a bowling ball or a basketball. The bowling ball does more damage but also makes the Mii move slower, The basketball does less damage but doesnt hinder the Miis speed. If used in the air the Mii will drop the basketball or bowling ball to the ground inflicting damage. Also the bowling ball disappears when it touches the ground, but the Basketball does not and can be picked up by other characters and your Mii.

Final Smash: Dogfight Plane - The Mii jumps in a dogfight plane and starts to fly around shooting projectiles at the other enemies. If an opponent gets hit by the plane or the projectiles they will recieve damage. You can control the plane and when it shoots the projectiles.

Special Abilities/Attributes - The Miis weight and power will be determined by how it is made in the Mii Channel. There height will be taken from the channel and there power and wieght will have to do with how big they are. Fat Miis will be stronger, slower, heavier, and not jump as high. Skinny Miis will be weaker, faster, lighter, and jump higher.

Up Smash: Upper Cut

Side Smash: Sword Swing

Down Smash: Cycling Donut

-------------------------------------------------------

This is what it was, as some of you may have noticed it is a bit different.

They say that for all suggestions. Though if they took suggestions they would be a lot better.

it very well could make it into the next game, but they handled it how they had to. Say if you patented your moveset, a day before they did... and they copied it, there could be a lawsuit filed by you.

Now, watch the patent office for your idea!!!! Nintendo might beat you to the chase!

You got the company line, which you will get for every inquiry you make at any company, unless its about a problem that can cost them money. Not really worth making a topic about.

Oh. Well if that is what he's talking about, that's a bit of a stretch... I'm sure Nintendo has thought of making Mario small years ago. I mean, there's even a level in SM64 where you shrink.

Even though they rejected it, your e-mail still could help influence moveset's for Mii's so don't worry :P

Nintendo of America does not handle the games, they are kind of like spokes-people for Nintendo of Japan. If you really wanted to make a suggestion, you would have to talk to Miyamoto in person.

For anyone who's played Yoshi's Island, you can probably recall the boss battle where Yoshi and Baby Mario were shrunk and swallowed by a frog.

Why? The person who responded to you is at the bottom of the totem pole at Nintendo. He/she has absolutely no input when it comes to how games are made. It's pretty much like driving into a brick wall with a Power Wheels; You're not going to make it through. You'll be lucky to make it to the wall without the battery dying.

Even if whoever responded gave a crap, they wouldn't be able to do anything about it. It isn't someone who is high up in the business chain, it is an intern. If they tried to tell someone about it, they would probably get fired for doing something other then their job.

I'm saying that the person whose job it was to reply to your email has no say in how games are made. In fact, he/she probably didn't even read the full email.

Part of their job to ignore any "idea" emails. As soon as they see the words "I had this idea", or something similar, they auto-reply with the PR response "thanks for your input, but we don't accept ideas from fans".

I've sent emails to Nintendo before, and a couple times I got the exact same response. They just copy-paste one of the many PR responses they have on their list of responses.

Basically, don't bother with sending emails to them. They don't listen.

You mailed it? Wow, why not just email it? It must have cost a lot of money, unless you live near Seattle. I'll go on the site and try to find it. I'm gonna suggest a game that is like the Subspace Emissary from Brawl. All the cool Nintendo characters teaming up. I think it would be awesome.

I was thinking the same thing, they probably do say the same thing to everyone.

How do I do it, I'm being serious. I am going to send a random but truthful suggestion.

I sent it by letter, so I had to go through all that crap.

whats the suggestion?

wow really?! O_o and did they actually send it back handwritten or they used one of the generic messages and printed? i'd guess the latter, but we never know, if nintendo actually opens their mail from fans (seriously i'm shocked that they do that)

I liveREALLY close toNintendo of Americaso I'm going to mail my suggestion, regardless if they respond or accept it or reject it. It would be regarding Mother 3 and other under rated frachises.

Why do people mail nintendo about things like this? Its wasting your time and the person who has to read the mail.
