They could release demos, sell put all the old snes and nes/gameboy games on emulators, you can fit a ton of stuff on those 2gig micro sd cards, they even have 4 and 6 gigs available now i think, why not just make a ds cart that reads those, or have its own internal memory that you could download too?. i think they would sell real well, if not just for the fact that your whole nds game library could be on the one cart, it would basicly be like the wii shop but for the ds, it could realy drive a new indie game scene on the nds too like you see on xbox live. no internet? how about walking into a game store buy the game and then downloading it to your ds wirelessly there?

remember im talkin about a legal official nintendo product here nothing shady just incase i get modded or somethin.

That would be very cool if they did that. I would like to play demos without having to go to a walmart or a gamestop.

You do realize this is going to get modded right? You can't even say the word ********* on these forums without getting mod'd. Even if you are using them for legit reasons it's still a suspension at least, trust me... I got one. It's funny though because the main gamespot site has advertisers that advertise them. Go figure. I pointed this out to them once and got a shoulder shrug.

From the top of the forums right on your post's page:

"Any discussion about Flash Cards/Homebrew/Emulators can result in a moderation with a suspension duration and the possibility of a permanent ban."

They are moving in this direction although not in the form you've mentioned. Professor Layton already has downloadable puzzles. I think it's like a new puzzle every week or something. It isn't a full blown game, but it's a step in the direction and the increased connectivity would hopefully lead to the introduction of a GB or GBC playability option in the VC. Download the game into the flash memory of the DS and hold the saved files on the Wii (you can travel anywhere you want, but if you want to save you go back to the Wii and send the save file to the Wii).

The idea isn't a perfect fit, but it would be relatively easy to introduce and can be tweaked later on.

the idea of a wii-fi shop would be pretty cool. download games onto an sd card, thats an interesting idea because i was wondering how that would work.

haha, i thought it'd be like those old pokemon gb/gba games where you could go where they had a machine set up to do whatever with pokemon.

but still, it would be pretty neat if they did that.
