don't you think?

the wii is the only console that accepts crappy games (besides the PS2,but no one cares about it now)

I got mad after playing the ho-ho-ho-horrible ninjabread man, what the hell were they thinking?

and the bad thing is that they are making a sequel for it!

nintendo should stop accepting games from data design, and other crappy games like "alvin and the chipmunks".

it's ruining it.

The problem is, its the crap games that sell. And considering this is the first time in 2 generations that Ninty is on top, they're not going to want those games off their console

To say the Wii is the only console that accepts crappy games is a terrible statement. Ever heard of Lair?

Anyways, Nintendo should allow any and all games on the Wii, it isn't their fault you can't research what you buy before you buy it.

you dont blame the DVD player for crappy movies that go strait do DVD like Land Before Time 12 or Bring it On 6.....why blame Nintendo for bad games on the Wii.... You dont judge a console on the crappy games that you could pick up, you judge it on the great games that you will buy.

Under all that crap are a lot of good Wii games.

You just have to find them.

personally i prefer this "let it all on" approach. when ninty put in restrictions, man did they put in restrictions. they would never ever allow somethign like GTA or manhunt on their console under their old rules. mad world? forget it. no more heros? ure kidding right?

yes theres alot of crap coming.....and some of it sells. but, imho, just let the games out and let the market decide for itself what it wants. i dont like having a censor on any platform. at the end fo the day, u dont have to buy the crap....just leave it on the shelf to rot.

If you don't do the research you deserve what you get, the blame is on you. Since you're now on this site there's no reason to make the same kind of mistake again.

It's not a good idea to control what everyone thinks, Hitler tried that once and see how that worked out?

I'm comparing any method to controls people's thinking and oppress others from thinking to Hitler.

What is good for one is not good for all. The idea that somehow anything would be better if we just got rid of the people that "didn't think the right way" is wrong every single way you look at it.

It's called business. They're not taking advantage of the Wii's success, they wouldn't make the kinds of games they do if they don't sell. I don't know why some people think that every developer has to make the best game. It doesn't work that way.

McDonald's is a great example of this. Sure they make cheap crappy food, but they're wildly successful.

It seems like there are a lot of crapy games for all the systems out there, but the Wii does has many more childish games so they may seem worse to you.

But the principle is the same. Both are cheap to make and sell well compared to the cost it takes to make it.

And the goal of business is to make money, so if these types of games continue to be a better option to companies than bigger budget more polished titles, they will continue to make them.

You are blaming Nintendo though - you are blaming them for not being more restrictive. They did that to start with, which was because of the video game crash of 83. But even though the companies havent all realised what damage they are doing with shovelware, the games (contrary to what fanboys tell you) DO NOT sell by the boatload. Most stores peddle them as much as possible, but only because they are the games they are trying to get rid of, not because they are popular.

Nintendo wants money and selling crappy games gives it to them.

First party games are great though.

I'm comparing any method to controls people's thinking and oppress others from thinking to Hitler.

What is good for one is not good for all. The idea that somehow anything would be better if we just got rid of the people that "didn't think the right way" is wrong every single way you look at it.

It's not the same thing, instead of network TV let's make it cable access and it would be closer.

If Nintendo wants to pick and choose how it's first party games are done that's fine, once they start sticking their heads in what other companies want to do they've crossed the line.

It comes down to trying to control how people think, that's always dangerous

As for the Nintendo seal that's never meant anything. A lot of people think it meant something but it just meant that Nintendo assures users that the game would work perfectly with it's console.

That's it

UBISOFT?!?!, OK, I'm not got to say anything except "No More Heroes" If Nintendo banned Ubisoft, then we wounldn't have the best 3rd party game released for the Wii.

Now back on topic, Nintendo can accept any game that is being developed, and if they're lucky, it's a success if not, than just ignore it. If Nintendo doesn't accept any 3rd party games on the Wii than they're gonna have to make a Truck load of New games, New IPs to make up for it, and that's impossible.

IMO, On all the systems released, the amount of crappy games is usually more than the amount of good games, no matter what. so all you do is look up the games you want to buy and hopefully you'll never have a bad game in your collection, it's your fault you bought "Ninja Bread man", why didn't you check the games reviews?
