Nintendo Stepping UP 3DS Advertisments

One of the biggest issues the 3DS has is that people think it's just a DS 3D, well with these new commercials maybe sales will pick up

The new NA ads aren't bad, but I like the UK ads better because they show off more games and they make sure you know "This is NOT DS, this is Nintendo 3DS".

I hope NoA takes it up a notch with their holiday ads.

Much prefer our UK ads.

Certainly much better than the ones they used during launch. A good step in the right direction if they really want the 3DS to sell this holiday season.

- Less focus on the 3D aspect of the device like in previous ads

- They show off the big holiday titles

- Make it clear that they're only playable on 3DS

- Tell people about the new price drop

Why should they advertise for other compaines when they themselves are having a hard time?

I hate when my mom says " Why do you want that you already have the DSi," she cant get it that its a different system!!!!:evil:

UK's are definetely better, but the backround music in NA's is more catchy XP I still don't believe they fail to mention Kid Icarus Uprising, I think that'll be the best 3DS game of the holiday season.

Much prefer the new UK ad, although i've seen 3DS's available for a lot less than that :) Only thing that worries me is that my girlfriend saw this and said 'that adverts awful, why not show games people actually want?' guess the casual gamers not nintendos target market atm?

I pretty sure that Kid Icarus Uprising isn't coming intill next year. so I find it understandable that they don't show it....

But now, what they should do, is advertise all the colors it's availble in.

My parents had the same problem going from a Nintendo 64 to a GameCube and a GameCube to an Xbox 360, thankfully my children will not have that issue :P

No there really not. Super Mario Land 3D and Mario Kart 7 sell systems. Mario Kart Wii is getting close to 30 million sold and all the lastest Mario Platformers have hit 5 million I believe. Niche fighters and ports don't sell systems. Sure a big fan of one of the games you mentioned might by the system due to it but they don't need adds to tell them.
