Nintendo takes over as publisher of Wii U Ninja Gaiden 3; fixing a lot.

The link's above. Apparently, Nintendo took over as publisher for the updated version of Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge; introducing six new weapons, a bunch of higher difficulty settings, and tweaking a lot of the gameplay.

The question is, would you get a Wii U and repurchase Ninja Gaiden 3 if it was reworked to be the game it was supposed to be and not the garbage that was released for xbox and playstation?

I think I'd buy it,as they seem to be fixing a big problem with it.

As I recall, the original NG3 was pretty bad and got like a 5 or something on this site. I can't see a few more weapons and gameplay tweaks fixing the game enough to make it a must have, even if I was a fan of the series.

I wonder if they'll do anything with the story.The improved AI and difficulties are great(as well as new weapons),but something needs to be done with the story from the sounds of it.

If they can make it a better game, I'm interested.

I just think it's cool that Ninty is taking over to try and make the game better. It won't be difficult. The demo was sooo bad.

Nintendo will remove all the blood..then replace them with coins...then say..now everyone can play.. :P *kidding*

To tell you the truth, the only games that will utilize the gamepad the best will be made by Nintendo (though ZombiU may prove me wrong). Its just simply because Nintendo knows how to utilize their hardware best. Proof is provided in the Wii.

This is kind of surprising to hear. Nintendo is not only is publishing an M rated game, they're also adding the ability to chop off peoples limbs, and they're making it harder...

The roles have been switched. First it was Team Ninja working to make Metroid Other M, Now it's Nintendo working to make Ninja Gaiden. Nintendo will make this AWESOME :D I'm glad I didn't buy the Beta Versions.nini200

Wow, that's interesting.

If Nintendo actually does make an existing mediocre game into something special, then bravo! It could make a good selling point.

It'll get reviewed, it'll get gameplay videos, and then I will decide. As long as it changes the gameplay from a QTE/streamlined PoS to what we had in NG I and even NG II, I'll be happy. Some more weapons, as well - and a bow that uses the IR. I don't care about the story (it's like playing Streets of Rage and complaining there's no plot :lol:), so w/e.
