It's finally happening!

Nintendo and Universal are partnering to make Nintendo themed rides at Universal parks. How do you feel about this? What rides/themes do you want to see?

Personally I'm really excited and I hope to see a Mario Galaxy inspired ride.

I think we've seen the end of them as a console gaming company

First the cell phone now this?

I think they're finally seeing they can make money doing things other than traditional games.

@Jaysonguy:

Nintendo have been licensing their video game IPs for almost as long as they've been making video games.

Why do you "think" that? They've clearly announced that that's what they're doing. It's a given fact now, no need to "think" it, you "know" it now.

You clearly don't remember the Super Mario Super show.

I'm not a big theme park guy, but it would be cool seeing people in Nintendo foam costumes walking around and taking pictures with people.

...Kinda like:

I *think* the announcement came out of Florida. So I'd imagine the one in Florida and the one in Japan will at least get the support.

I sure hope so...otherwise it might end up like Nara Dreamland,ever heard of it? it was abandoned because of the lack of socialization and attention span about the venue
