When I get this thing, will it be able to read my wii if the wii is less than 35 feet away BUT it's in a different room and there are two walls between the Wifi USB and the Wii (a closet between the bedroom and the living room)

OR

Do I have to have the wifi usb and the wii in the same room?

thanks, Ritter

It'll work perfectly. It worked for me.

However I suggest you get a wireless router. My Wifi USB connector broke after 2 months ofusing it.

Dang.. I went with the USB because it was cheeper than a router and I couldn't figure out what router I actualy needed. The thing I read said something about needing a 801.b or something and it said not "n" or it might not work, but it seemed like every router that I looked online had the letter "n" in one of it's seeming random strings of lettters and number that I don't know what they mean.. I'm really not technicaly intuned you know?

But anyway, thanks for letting me know about the USB working through walls man. I apreciate the response. :)

I'M GOING TO SPAM THIS SO GAMESPOT WILL DELETE MY ACCOUNT. So I got moderated for making a joke thread about Wii Fit. I love my Wii, I'm not a troll.... but Gamespot seems to think they can run some sort of communist site. You can do this, you can do this, BUT YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!! Geez, IGN is sooo much more lax than this lame site. It would be all cool if I could just delete my account, as I find Gamespot to be the worthless redheaded stepchild to the bigger and better reviewers.... but low and behold! It wont let me delete my account. Gamespot, I hate you, and I do not want to be a member of your site any longer. For you to deny me the ability to delete my account is beyond lame. In addition to Gamespot's moderation communism, they also never seem to get their reviews out on time, and their staff is a bunch of pretentious journalists who weren't quite good enough to get jobs with the better companies out there. To you Gamespot, I say Screw You! This will be moderated too, I know it. I REALLY wish they would delete my account, but they'll "dock me points" like I'm in Kindergarten or something.PLEASSSSE GAMESPOT, DELETE MY ACCOUNT; I HATE YOUR WEBSITE. Thanks. -Sean DOn't forget to report me guys, thanks! ^^

From what I have heard the USB adaptor isnt so good, but in all honesty getting a router is such a better option in the long run and something you should look into eventually as more and more devices become wireless enabled, I have near enough everything conected to my router now, PC, Wii, DS, PSP and PS3 all but my Xbox 360 since the wireless adaptor for that cost too much in my opinion.
