my friend bought one and my Wii is only through one wall from my computer and it wont connect. if i move it out of that room to the TV in the room where the computer is i have to spend a while trying to get it to connect and eventually it works but with a crappy connection. even with my sisters DS u have to be righ infront of the computer. same with my friends Wii.

my other friend has one and it reaches absolutelly everywhere in his house. is my other firends faulty or somethin? cause if it isnt i dont see how nintendo can market a peice of $hit

I hated mine. It was garbage. I ended up with a wireless router and now I connect perfectly almost always.

It sounds like the computer is the problem IMO. Maybe you should make sure it isn't the computer. If it is fix it (or get someone else to).

Mine usually behaves, but only if I follow a certain routine each time I plug it in. Connection stays good once it gets going, although sometimes I do get the whole PC randomly freezing when it's connected.
