crymorepls.
Deal with it.
Some of us prefer that a 13 year old kid isn't screaming "WAHAHAHA I PWNT UUUU." in the mic while trying to play Brawl or BWii online.
After reading your reasons, actually they seem as advantage! I really don't need or want to play with a freaking kid that needs so desperatily tell the others when he "wins"
Thanks Nintendo for Friend Codes!!enrique_marrodz
After playing Xbox live, I actually agree with you
I think they need online with a mic... but to only allow it open to friend codes
and have friends codes where if you enter someone's code they can accept you through an email link (on your message board)
because I don't wanna hear randomers down the mic, but for online co-op play, or just deathmatch with a friend it would be better

It's important to remember that Nintendo's online services are still in their infancy. Yeah, sure, there are problems, but things can only go up from here. This year is better than last year, next year will be better than this year, and so on. These things take time.thebisonx

While I don't agree that the Wii online play is boring, I actually think it is fun despite it's shortcomings, I do agree that a headset (mics are technically just used to send voice ;D), would make it better. Like someone said, you don't need to use the headset if you want, but if you want to play with your friends online it would really be nice to be able to talk with them.
Take for example last night. I was playing Guitar Hero III online with my friend that does not to go college with me anymore. We would text each other after the end of each play session. It would have been nice if we could have just talked online. It would also be nice if there was a lobby used instead of having to rejoin with a friend after each set of songs is complete.
Finally, I agree with te poster above me. Nintendo's online service is in its infancy and while it could have been better, if they had taken some hints fom Microsoft, at least it's free and Nintendo actually went online this time around. I mean, they could have easily said screw it and not have put online capabilities into this system. And yes, I realize that would have been a really bad idea. So, I'm definitely starting to agree wtih some posters that people that say get use to it and whatnot really are hardcore fanboys who really need to realize that Nintendo is not perfect. I only own the Wii (for this generation) so you could probably call me a fanboy, but I realize that toher systems have their benefits and good games also. Anyway, hopefully Nintendo will fix the online service for the next system, or maybe some how fix it for this system.
