nintendo wii picture all fuzzy on my hdtv. HELP PLZ!

i've just bought a nintendo wii and set it up on my samsung hdtv and the pictures useless and fuzzy. i think i need to buy a separate cable could anyone let me know which of the cables it is. thanks in advance

you're probably using composite cables, you need component. once you get them, make sure you set the wii to use progressive scan mode instead of interlaced. then you should be good!

I don't know a lot about HDTVs, so the only help I can offer is to buy some component cables. You don't need the official Nintendo ones; I've heard people who have gotten some for around $10. Just searched around Google and found these Madcatz cables that are about 13 bucks, but you can probably find some even lower if you search.

you must get the component cables for wii that exist at all stores.you must also set your wii at 480p and 16:9 from the wii settings.you must also set your tv to 480p and 16:9.

depending on your tv, you won't necessarily need to change any settings on it.

Dude, they all work the same. Nintendo will just charge you more. It's the same thing with their official SD Cards: with them, you pay $50 for something you can get for $20.

The SD Cards are a rip-off, but generally cheaper cords means they'll break easier

If the cables are 6 feet long or less it is proven that third party ones do exactly the same thing.

get 1st party composite cables/ looks liek u got the jaggies.
