U know the big 3, the best Wii games soon to come?(I saw SSBB got rank 4 in IGN's top E3 ranks in which top 3 was 360 games and number one was Halo 3)

Will any of them get a better score on gamespot than Halo 3, or sell more?

The answers you loyal fans give me will determine if I get a Wii!:)

If generic sci fi shooter 3 gets a 7.5 like it deserves then there should be quite alot of games (Bwii for one) that will score more. As for sales only GTA 4 (because of it's multiplatform) will get anywhere near the aforementioned game in terms of sales.

really did you have that bad of an experience online playing halo or something? If halo gets what it deserves it should get a 9.5 or up. But no nothing is going to come close to outselling halo because of its hype and nothing is probably going to score near it

It is impossible for halo 3 to get less then 9.0. No one has the guts to rate halo that low because it is the most hyped game ever made and no matter what is actually in the game its still going to score amazing.

Halo- Good new sci fi shooter. Excellent game.

Halo 2-multiplayer frag fest. No fun in single player.

Halo 3- More frag fest. Pretty fx a few new toys but essentially more of the same. *Yawns*

And yes i did get sick of rasict nine year olds screaming 'head shot' down the wires. I'll stick with Metriod for single player and take my online gaming with Bwii and Haze Thx

I have to say, I have been a PC gamer all my life, played almost every FPS there is, and i couldn't stand playing halo. it was CRAP! my personal opinion is that Halo is one of the BIGGEST over rated games ever.

I can not say much on Mass Effect, and GTA games have never been my style of games.

Let me tell you this tho, the Wii is for everyone. You may not want to play it at first look (coz graphics not that great and ppl look stupid playing it), you must try it and see. I am almost certain that you will like it because most ppl do like it. Just give it a chance dude

For example, if by this time next year (hypothetically) the wii has sold 20 million and the Xbox has sold 18 million, I think brawl will of have out sold Halo 3 for obvious reasons. Also if Halo 3 is sold old for the first three month and SSBB isn't SSBB will probably of have sold more. The only way to know for sure is if you have a magic crystal ball which I don't.kingqaz

Any sequel you look at is essentially the "same". MP3 is going to basically be the same as echoes and prime just with a new story line which is basicaly what halo is. And saying you didnt like halo because of racist 9 year olds is not an excuse. its called take your headset off.

I think that halo is such a beloved franchise now, that any score they giveBELOW a 9.0 would have the entire gaming public in an outrage. even if the game deserveda rating below 9.0they wouldn't dare rate it any lower. The same thing happened for Legend of zelda: twilight princess. I don't think I could find a single review or forum article that agreed with the guy who rated it.(for the record, I have the upmost respect for him because he had the honest integrity to speak his opinion without basing it on ignorant nintendo fanboyism.) And every other person in the gaming public virtually crusified him in their responce forums.

What I'm trying to say is: please don't base what you fork over your money for on halo 3's rating or success. Read each game's individual reviews (or rent the game) and find out which one you would like to play the most.THAT should make you want to buy a wii, not the rating or salesof a completely different game. Because as we all know,sales numbersdon't really show how good a game is: MARIO PARTY 8is one of the best selling games right now on the wii, but it got a 6.5 here on gamespot.A dicision based off that is defenitly an iffy one.

the 8.9 was the gamecube version. the wii version got an 8.8.

and Matt cassamassina is a rediculously huge nintendo fanboy. there was no way that 9.5 he gave TP wasNOT biased.

also for the record. I'm not saying TP sucked, I loved it. i'm just saying how stupid it is to put out a biased review.

360 is not outselling wii. In a month or even less the Wii will have outsold the xbox 360 worldwide sales numbers.

Each month the wii is sold in the states and Japan and several other regions. They sell out the shipments. With more games coming the numbers of wiis sold is expected to increase. Most people have never seen a wii in their local stores while stories of seeing unsold wiis are often fishy.

Wii will outsell the 360 because of 1 thing: Japan. The 360 is dead there. The Wii and the 360 will still sell decent here while in Japan, the 360 is nothing and Wii is outselling all the consoles.
