I am severly disappointed with the wii this year. The motion plus seems cool and so does mad world, but they are not coming out until 09. The only games that are still cool for wii this year are De blob, Sam and Max, Sonic, Call of Duty, GH for fans of that series. Animal Crossing is cool for niche croud but most of those games I mentioned are mutiplat and if history repeats itself, the other versions of those games will most likely be better. Putting Rock Band 1 on Wii is bit too late and a joke since RB 2 is coming this year. Castlevania is a gamble. Nintendo always gloats about having the strongest first party titles, but where is F-zero, Kirby, Pilotwings, (Factor 5 was supposed to do that game like in 03), Star Fox and Punch Out have yet to be seen again. Punch Out is a must, seeing as how they have done boxing in wii sports, even though the nunchuck was crap. Wave Race has been part of Nintendo's launch since 64 and yet still nothing. Yet we get crappy mainstays like crus n.
Obviously I am not asking for all of those games this year in 08, but 2 or 3 of those would have been kind of nice. It is too bad they sold rare to MS because Jet Force Gemeni would have been super nice on wii. Killer Instinct could have been a cool fighter for wii since there are no fighters except armaggedon.
Ok maybe there is Warioland and Sluggers, but I am kind of tired of mario and mario universe games being the 90% of great games on Wii. I know mario will always be there, but that is all they ever do. Nintendo is finally on top again after a decade and they throw all their money into casual games and shovelware. Why?
