Nintendo's FPS

Alright I have a Major question. Microsoft has the Halo Series. Sony has the Killzone Series. What does nintendo have... nothing. Now everyone loves the Metroid Prime ,but MP is no where close to being a FPS like Halo/Killzone [It's more of an F.P.A (first person adventure)]. I want a game Where when you shoot some in there head It says headshot or the enemy atleast dies. If nintendo was to make another Fps what would you want it to look like?

Killzone isnt really in the same leage as Halo and everyone always compares Halo and Prime.

But other than prime............... Resident Evil 4, 0 ,1

Nintendo will always say its Metroid Prime even though it doesn't really fit the bill, maybe if Retro works on a new pure FPS series after MP3?tomarlyn

Although I'd personally like to see them do something outside of shooting (Kid Icarus Wii, all those cancelled GameCube projects), Retro could do the killer app FPS on Wii.

I would love to see a FPS in the mold of Gears and Halo on the Wii.

Two words... Duck Hunt! :P

But seriously, Metroid Prime may be a FPA, but it sure does beat a lot of FPSs in the fun department. Besides, Red Steel will most likely be Nintendo's "Halo" as soon as Ubisoft gets it right and gets rid of all those bugs. If not, Nintendo still has Day of Disaster and an exclusive Resident Evil under it's belt.

Also I read somewhere that this is the last metroid of its kind, what does that mean? Will the next one be a third person shooter / Platformer with co-op and melee attacks? We will have to wait and see!dark_link_777

I say it's going to be a turn based RPG.......lol

so I think a laser tag game that incorporates the Miis would be pretty awesome. PikaPichu

A first person shooter (other than MP, even though that rocks) made by Nintendo would be nice. It wouldn't have to be family friendly, I hate that cliché. Sure, most, if not all games by Nintendo are family friendly, but that could change at any time. It's not like there isn't any mature games on these systems, so why not make another? It's not like people are gonna pick up a game for their 4 year old son that is M rated just because it's first party Nintendo.

Anyway, something online multiplayer like halo 2 would kick ass. They shouldn't make it out of a current franchise though. It would have to be fresh.
