Nintendo's Purchase of Monolith - Now DISASTER DAY OF CRISIS will be EPIC!!

This game had potential!   Now it can only get better with Nintendo's savy, and brilliance.

Nintendo made a very smart move today with the purchase of Monolith! 

Just look what happened to Rare and Silicon Knights. They were both great when they were with Nintendo, but once these companies jumped ship their games went completely down hill.

 Here comes amazing Wii RPGs (imagine Baten Katos injected with Nintendo's brilliance) and a much more epic DDOC!

We have seen many more examples of success than failure.

Geist was not bad, and was at least slightly enjoyable.

Let me give you some unbelievable examples of Nintendo partnerships that made explosive games:

1.  Metroid (Retro)

2.  Eternal Darkness (Silicon Knights)

3.  Goldeneye (Rare)

DDOC will surely be ten times better now, but a new Baten Kaitos would do the Wii a lot more justice as it lacks RPGs!

I guarantee that it will because they care about the success of the game a lot more...they own 80% of the company now...if it does badly Nintendo does badly!  Monolith is a second party studio now, and they will get much more of Nintendo's attention

I know what your saying but I think it will have a much bigger impact in the future :)

Previously being just the publisher the stakes of its success were still just as high, due to the fact they were already the one's bankrolling its production and going to be putting it on the shelves with their name on it.

Hopefully the scenes where it looked like real-time gameplay  weren't pre-rendered.  I know it's not like Nintendo to pull a Sony, though...
