no ds game got a higher rating than 9.2 on game spotbopmaga1OMG RLY? I MUST SELL MY DS LITE NOW AND BUY A PSP LOL!
I think that the highest reviewed DS title getting a 9.2 is a complete joke. Gamespot's reviewers are intelligent and fairly consistent, but I'm getting fed up with their reluctance to give great games anything higher than a 9. I assume that they want to make a high score something special, and there's nothing wrong with that in theory, but when games like Trauma Center and Dawn of Sorrow can't break the sacred 9.0 mark, the system has to be fixed.chadlouisWe're dealing with reviewers individual tastes. You're right about setting standards of some sort. But don't forget, we're dealing with ppl's opinions here and that is rather subjective. I take the review into account, but only lightly. I take the "What they say" into account. But I'm more than likely to trust "What you say" even more. Providing the review are intelligent and not some fanboy rhetoric.

I would still like to view two different reviews sometimes by Gamespot itself. Having two professional, and neutral, opinions could provide people with different views on the games.

TC was good, but doesn't deserve higher then an 8.5 in my opinion.
Some of the games really deserved more than 9.2. I guess the reviewers just... couldn't... do it... Like for instance, IGN has five games above 9.2: Elite Beat Agents, New Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart DS and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. Great!NotAFurry
GS's ratings should be more lax.
I dont even follow reveiws i just use the good and the bad to see if those would make me like the game or hate it.
