Well as you can see many people are very dissapointed in not having HTML5 or Flash in the Web browser, but I've come up to a consclusion why they wouldn't. Hopefully they don't have HTML5 or Flash is because they will make a Youtube 3D app for the 3DS. Many people know that the Ipod Touch and Iphone before IOS4 was released didn't support either Flash or HTML5 either, now to compensate for this they had a special Youtube app pre-installed where people can watch videos through it. Hopefully this is the case for the 3DS. The probable reasons to have a seperate app rather than have HTML5 in the web browser is:
1. When multitasking battery would be used a lot more.
2. So children can not have happy time with certain videos
3. Youtube 3D is still fairly new so it might take a bit longer to resize the app for the 3DS.
There would be no reason for Nintendo to not have youtube, and it's not like they're against it, like the Wii even has flash, so I'm guessing they are going to release a Youtube 3D app, it makes sense. Also I'm thinking the E-Shop will release more apps then just games, like the Pokedex app or the Netflix app. The 3DS probably won't get anything like the silly apps on the Iphone like Jersey Shore Name generator, but maybe just something like Vevo, probably a Nintendo app like the Nintendo Channel on the Wii and maybe some other apps, nothing too special. I'm hoping Nintendo releases a Youtube 3D app, and soon, optimistically it would be nice to have it on June. 6th along with some sort of messaging system for the 3DS and 3D video recording and video chat with the front facing camera, but maybe a 2nd update after E3 with all these features would be nice.
