no hype for gta?

theres harldy anybody talking about it lol its like a dream game for the ds..other than ssb

thats why there is no hype beacause people like "It's going to be retarted" and then the person they're talking to are like "well how come you think that?" and there like "Have you seen gta advance?" now people need to shut the hell up about gta advance well i just have one thing to that. Yes major contenders that we know were going to be amazing especially for fans of the series. Not some side story of a major franchise that will either have a small world and not look good. Plus I just don't want it. People hyped assassin's creed for the DS too.

Ouch dude. Harsh. The GTA for the GBA was not nearly the game that Liberty City Stories has set the standard for in handheld games. It isn't a name issue, but we don't know how controls or graphics translate over to a handheld that is weak in the 3D department for a 3D game that is entirely open world. We need to see something first. Right now it is just a name, considering the worry over the translation to the new platform.

i never hype anything until i see a great trailer.

This game will flop sales wise if it is not 3d becuase as stated above liberty city stories set the standard, and thats what gamers expect. I could be wrong though please remember this is just my opinion

frankly, handheld gtas just don't have a good track record. i mean, liberty city stories and vice city stories were okay, but nothing exceptional. and they even had a joystick to work with, who knows how the stylus controls will work out.

Your counter-argument concerned sequels, hence there were unavoidable expectations. The Grand Theft Auto being produced for the DS would be a completely new entry. Still, I am curious to see how this game will pan out.

The GBA and GBC titles were terrible, and I never liked the series at all in the first place.
