Cool, but couldn't they have just made it so you can turn down/off the blood level?

...Yeah, that is something...
[QUOTE="lancea34"]I'll get the censored version as it's more realistic. Light Saber don't cut, they burn/pulverize, which explains the ashes when killing an enemy.manicfoot
You play NMH for realism? *head explodes*
Yep. I also think surviving 3 mine explosions and a couple of grenade explosions is very real!:P
This game is awesome. Just because you wanted a GTA style game doesnt mean this is bad. The only complaint every has is there isnt enough open world stuff. But the action/missions are fun. Jobs a little tedious. But the gameplay is fun.
I dont think this will improve on what is a pretty bad game anyway.Haunted_shadows
Actually, I am glad it wasnt GTA style, I dislike those games.
For me it was just far to repetative, maybe if I played it less in a period of time then it wouldn't 'ave seemed so bad.

I've played a significant chunk of No More Heroes and can't bring myself to finish it. It's boring to me. The jobs are tedious, and the missions don't have enough variety. But those are little things.
My major problem with the game is the city itself. It's absolutely pointless. There's nothing to do, nothing to do destroy (which is VERY disappointing considering the city's name), nothing interesting to see. The game would be more bearable if the city had been omitted or completely fleshed out. As it is, it feels like an unfinished product, like Suda had this idea for a city, but once it was made, he didn't know what to do with it.
So the major improvements I would need in a sequel are 1) No More Pointless City, 2) No More Boring Jobs, and 3) No More Similar Missions. I actually like the core gameplay, though that could also be improved with a better variety of enemies and strategies for killing them.

That seems to be a more logical choice.
So logical that my brain truly can't comprehend why they didn't do that...unless the violence level changes the rating or something...

While I completely agree with the fact that the city is a barren wasteland, NMH isn't a sandbox game. We've become used to that level of interaction because of games like GTA, but the over world in NMH is no more plain and boring than Hyrule Field in Ocarina of Time. It's just a means of getting from one job, mission, or kill to another.
It'd be much better with a more interactive city, but the first game was a small budget production, if I'm not mistaken.
WiiMotion Plus and more polish for number 2.
