Hello!

I'm having some problems with the wrestling moves in No More Heroes 1. I don't know why, but I can't do most of the tricky moves in some boss battles and standard enemies . I grab the characters, then the arrows pop up, I do the motion correctly, but it doesn't work.

Did anyone had this problem?

I mean, I don't have my nunchuck or Wiimote damaged, both work perfectly fine if I swing them seperately during the game.

So, honestly I don't have a clue why it's performing like this...

Any tips?

Maybe you're swinging too early? Try delaying a bit, or swinging harder?

I didn't have any problems with the motions. When you see the arrows, wait 1 second and then execute. It works for me.

I had the exact same problem, it was the nunchuk. With the broken nunchuk, the up and down motions would work (or maybe it was sideways only, one of the two), but any nunchuk move requiring a sideways motion did not (ex. left chuk, up wiimote etc.). I replaced it and it worked perfectly, and bosses actually didn't take 20 min to take down due to having wrestling moves now LOL

IDK, i've never had any issue with the controls on either NMH games. Just slow down and try to be more precise with motiions.

also, are you kidding. I wont say i didnt have issues with RedSteel1 controls, but they werent as bad as everyone out their who must have parkinsons or something make them out to be. But NMH (IMO) has some of the best controls of the Wii. It mixes innovative motion use with button mashing. i NEVER had a issue with either NMH game controls, including wrestling stuff. Red Steel was full of glitches and frame rate issues, but the controls really only needed to be tweeked like you can now on games like conduit and COD(sword fighting worked fine if you didnt just flail your arms everywhere, and actually tried to exucute the moves correctly.)

It's really odd, for example, sometimes I can pull one wrestling move, but the next time the exact same wrestling moves pops up, it doesn't work.

All the motions that points both arrows up, I do them without a problem. But the more complex ones, I don't.

For example, yesterday, in one boss battles, 2nd rank btw, I manage to pull the wrestling moves fine, but in the third time I tried, it didn't worked at all...

I tried the game in a different console, with different controlers, both wiimote and nunchuck, and it add the same problem.

My Wiimote has Wii Motion Plus, but I don't think it's because of that, because I already tried without it and the problem persists...
