Suda 51 confirmed back very late last year that NMH will be expected playable at this year's TGS. *check out the link* Now that we've seen the companies listed from IGN, look down at 'M'. 'Marvelous Interactice' is listed there - the publisher of NMH. Looks like they're opening a booth, and a booth = playable games and playable games = playable No More Heroes.

For me, the hype for this title went way down after GDC. Stiff animation, awfully delayed effects, rough textures, A-button mashing sword combat.......BUT X-Play's new footage looked more promising and polished but far from OMG. I am still anticipating the title somewhat, as it has personality, charm and the motorbiking looks sick. I really hope TGS can get me excited for NMH again, with positive previews, fleshed-out visuals and better-flowing combat. This could be NMH's only spot in the sun if the game is still scheduled for 2007 (which I highly doubt - I reckon it'll hit Japan Q1 2008 ).

If true this is freaking awesome. I cannot wait for this game, but do hope its pushed to Q1 for sales purposes and to allow for more tweaking/polishing. New screens on the website from last friday really show some visual improvements though.

Combat sounds pretty great though too, its not just tap the A button, Suda said the hight and angle determines your attack, and there gestures for special moves, plus all whole wrestling moves you can do to guys. I dont expect some out of this world gameplay, but I think it will be rather solid and fun.

Yeah, I know about the finishing moves and different stances, but I dunno if it's enough - I just hope that when I decapitate an opponent I'm required to swing the controller swiftly, not waggle it in some random direction. Kinda half-baked the experience for me.

As forthe pics, theyare alright, the lighting is better but that's about it.

Good. But yeah I got my worries too. The trailer they showed just... lacked. The animations weren't great and the framerate neither.

After playing Killer 7, I expect another great, psychotic story with insane characters. Personally, Killer 7 was one of the top 10 GameCube games, and I hope No More Heroes can live up to my own hype.
