No More Heroes Price Drop

There was a time NMH was hyped and really hot. Not it has been replaced with SSBB enthusiasts. But for those of you who didn;t buy it but thought about it now have the chance at a lower price. For $27.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=78-147-087

Altough I doubt this will bring them many more sales.

I don't know if it will drop in price in other places but at least it has here. 9.0 by Gamespot and other great scores by other reputable gaming sources. A good thing about 3rd party games is that they are most likely to have a price drop in the shortest period of time. I don't believe you will ever see a price drop anytime soon (likely never during the Wii's lifetime) for games like SSBB and MK.

I'd say a price drop is warranted since that game isn't worth even $30. It's a fun game, but so poorly designed it's almost insulting...

I need to pick it up while I can.I probably won't find No More Heroes that inexpensive for quite a while,and I really want to play it.

Really fun game and definately worth that money. I was happy at $50, I'd be ecstatic at that.

Sure there is: some people don't want it. Just because they have a 2 for 1 sale on adult diapers doesn't mean it's a good investment.

Plus this doesn't look like a price drop it looks like a sale (when you look at how other sites are doing it)

is not just a price drop... amazon have it for 34 + taxes ... GameStop have it for 50 new, 40 used. Newegg have ALWAYS have great deals...

so if you want the game, take advantage... those deals tend to go fast :P

(just wanted to clear that is not a price drop and that is not general)

Yeah...I'm not going to make any absolute claims about the game, but I will say that, for me, this game was the most disappointing (not worst, mind you) game I've played on the Wii. I couldn't stand the cutscenes for more than half a second and the overworld map was dreadful. The price drop is not good enough for me to buy it. My rental experience was bad enough.

However, it's definately a good deal for those who like the game :)

If you bought it at a real store you have 30 days to return in.

Buy it from Newegg, take that new game and return it and get your money back.

That way you're only out the sale price of the game.

Going to pass on this game, I hear there are dull sections that involve collecting money to progress or something like that. AlienSoldier

See now I find those missions fun. It's always something like mowing a lawn or collection coconuts but they're never missions that take very long and you don't need to do them that many times until you have enough money for whatever you need.

I think the people that have complained about them overemphasized the problem they saw. I don't see a problem at all.

All major retailers take back sealed games with the slip. Remember, when you buy a game as long as you return that game in a certain time period you're good to go. Imagine someone who gets two copies of the same game at Christmas or a birthday and has to keep both.

This is totally on the up and up, as long as you bring the store back a sealed copy in the time period of it's return policy it's fine. If you're extra worried you can always call the store and ask about their policy, most of them have their return policy right on the slip these days.

Mmm maybe I will give this game a chance then, out of interest what would you rate it out of ten, worth buying even at full price?, I live in teh UK and this game hasn't got a price drop, plus the blood has been censored for some stupid reason, now it's green or something like that, but that wouldn't bother me.

I think the blood has been replaced by coins. Honestly the game's got so much going on the screen at one time it could be orange silly string and I don't think the game would change that much. This isn't blood, more like red flashes.

It's less of a video game and more of an experience, like Endless Ocean kinda.

You play it for the story more then you're playing it for the game.

I don't know what I'd rate it yet because I'm not done with the game (since my Wii is in the shop) but I'm halfway done and while it takes you a little bit to get into the game the story keeps you playing. Like I said before the side missions aren't bad. There's regular missions (like the coconuts) and then there's hitman missions where you have to off a certain number of people under certain rules.

I didn't think it was worth getting for full price and even after playing (halfway) I still don't. I got it on sale and I think 40% off is a good price to pay. In the US it's not worth the 49.99 price tag but I doubt many will be disappointed in 29.99. I don't know how that converts overseas.
