I've only played through the first hour of it so far. (Too busy playing Smash and Earthbound)
Anyway, it is pretty good and the cutscenes are hilarious. The only thing I hate is using the motorcycle.
Totally agree!
Got it yesterday, and I love it. Slow to pick up after the 1st boss (the city is lame) but there's soon a lot more to do once you begin to ascend the ranks.
Can't wait to keep playing!
do you all think there will be a sequel?lordlors
i hope so, but suda had a lot of negative things to say about nintendo gamers (how they dont step outside the box of 1st party games) which kind've raises a lil doubt.

This is completely wrong. Suda hasnt said anything against Nintendo consumers, but rather was quoted talking about the real situation of the Wii software sales at the time, but even then later he stated that the quote was a misquote and not a correct relfection of what he said and how he felt about the situation.
He always been confident in his decision for making NMH on the Wii and has always stated he believed the game would do well sales wise, even if initial sales were not extremely high. And since then he has stated he would very much like to make a NMH2 if sales of the original permited.
A sequel is definitely within the realm of possibilities. The general consensus is that if the game can sell 500k world wide a sequel is very likely. Current projections estimate itll reach 500k so things are looking good at the moment, hopefully theyll remain this way if not improve.enduin
I would love a second game, with a deeper game, maybe some multiplayer, maybe a better storyline? but the combat was done really well :)
When I was actually playing through the game, I convinced myself that I loved every single minute of it. There was tonnes of style, and I loved the motion controlls.
Afterwards, though, I couldnt help but feel disappointed... this game could have been so so so much more. The problem is, Suda seemed more interested in creating a piece of satire than a fully polished gameplay experience and, whilst I appreciate what it is, I just felt a little disappointed.
Ok you are stepping way over the line IMO. The game is fun and has great ideas but gets very repetative with the Job BS. I love the boss fights and cutscenes but after you beat it you may never want to touch it again if you can force yourself to even beat it. For your info I did beat it and got all the beam katanas for the bonus ending.
Edit: Ok as for the 3rd party part Okami and RE4 even knowing they are Wiimakes are much better.

wooooode
The very fact that you played through all of the jobs and killed all of the assassins *just* to get to the end solidifies Suda's message :) Those little mini game jobs were very clever, but you are right, it was very repetative.
Like I said, they sacrificed gameplay experience to make a point.
