No More Heros Question

The graphics are cel-shaded, they look like a comic strip kind of -- like The legend of zelda: wind waker, or, Killer 7.

and the gameplay.. how does it 'look like a ps1 game'.

Well...(and this is just my opinion)...it just looks like it plays kind of like Soul Reaver, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but at the same time, it hardly makes me excited in any way about No More Heroes.

? What was funny about what I said? I didn't say or insinuate in any way that a PS1 console could handle any Wii game. All I said was that the game LOOKS like it has PS1 graphics and gameplay.

Some people complain about the original Resident Evil gameplay (clunky tank like controls), that doesn't mean it's bad, just dated.

I also asked if what I saw was an old video. Any input there, or just more LOL'S?

I just don't think he understands how the game is actually played, and I could see how it come off as simplistic or, I guess, old. It actually has some very unique gameplay mechanics.

A button is assigned to kicking and another to slashing with your beam sword. Now a unique feature to this system is that depending on how high your holding the controllers you attack or block at a different level. So if an enemy is guarding high, you hold the controllers low to hit him/her/it lol. Also, after stringing some combos together, you can preform special moves that require movements of the wiimote and nunchuk in conjunction; the special moves range from special sword attacks to wrestling moves, and probably morez.

That is pretty much all I've heard so far about the game, and I assure you that there is going to be plenty more.

And your right, I knew nothing about how the game is played until reading your post. All I knew about the game was from watching this one gameplay video. Being told it's cel-shaded explains the colour, but nothing more. Nothing until your informative post, so again, thank you.:)

I could give you an insiteful look into why I thought No More Heroes Gameplay Video 4 reminded me of Soul Reaver, but when I'm called an idiot for no apparent reason for a mild difference of opinion, I've kind of lost interest.

"Is it an old Video" doesn't sound like a question to you? I can't tell you what my SAT score was because it was so long ago, but 760 is good junior. You know, it's kids (I say kids because your boasting of an SAT score lol) like you who really make this site poor, people with the outlook that your opinion and your opinion alone is the only right one, which trust me, once you get some real life experience, you'll learn that the world doesn't revolve around your opinions alone.

Well when you put it like that, that makes sense. But I don't feel I gave the impression that I was trolling when on my second post alone, I made a point of making a "just my opinion" comment.

And just so I'm not double posting, I'll just say now that I find more people jump at others and argue at the drop of a hat on the Wii boards, as opposed to say...the 360 boards. Just an observation is all.
