No more pokemon or rpgs!

Im sick of the ds only getting crappy/nerdy rpg and pokemon games!!!      

Now i know alot of you are gonna flame me for this but i dont care.  The ds needs better action, arcade, racing and adventure games!!   I dont like pokemon at all and i think its only for a certain age group(mods this is my own opinion).

Does anyone else out there feel the same? 

action? suspense? from a handheld?!

Actually... I'm angry that Nintendo/the devs aren't putting enough effort into "crappy nerdy rpg". In my opinion, the only games that are worth anything on handhelds are platformers, rpg/strategy and adventure games. Right now, the devs aren't putting much effort into new rpg/platform/adventure/strategy franchises, and that angers me.ryand2006

Don't worry I'm not the type to flame others for personal opinions though I must disagree that Pokemon isn't fun, cus it is to me. But that's not the point and you my friend are right. Where's the 3rd party support with kick ass games? All I've seen lately is Nintendo putting up the games. However games such as NanospayII (forgive if i mispelled) looks cool, Megaman ZX games look challenging, and surprisingly I heard that Bionicle:Heros was a great game....excludin the fact that it doesnt have wifi like MPH. But remember the Ds plays GBA games as well and u shouldnt pass up great action gems like AstroBoy: Omega Factor, and Super Gunstar Heros. So fear not they're either out there or they're coming....soon....to a BestBuy, Gamestop, CircuitCity, Walmart, Toysrus, or Kmart (Yeh dats a good one.) near you!!

Are you saying the ds cant have racing games like death rally (pc game) or test drive unlimited?     What about RTS games like red alert or black and white?

Bleach, Bleach 2nd, Jump! Super Stars, Jump! Ultimate Stars, Guilty Gear, Naruto: Shinobi Retsuden. They might not be your type of fighting games though.

well, numbers don't lie. everytime a pokemon game comes out, it's a huuuuuge hit everywhere. hell, i still enjoy Pokemon games, the rpg elements are always done great. but seriously, look at the ds. racing games, not gonna work to well Mario cart did well, but at the same time diddy kong didn't/ arcade-there are a lot of arcade games on the ds (like Jump ultimate stars) many of which aren't available in the US. but the DS is region free and imports are plentiful. Adventure-well there's rpgs. not musch else i know of. you sound like a PSP person to me, all of the genres you listed are plentiful on the PSP (note:not hyping PSP, insiting flaming, just want to state a fact) you have to look at Nintendo's demographic. a lot of their business starts at age 8- and they all like Pokemon. might as well enjoy it 

well, they don't have any decent ENGLISH fighting sims. but i've got great imports, bleach ds 2nd, jump ultimate stars. those games are boss. they rule.

as for 3rd party support and stuff. i don't see whats so bad. they've got spiderman 3 for the ds with a proper 3d world. 

and as far as the preview is sounding, transformers for the DS is actually looking pretty good and i'm probably gonna get it.

Why don't you try importing Jump! Ultimate Stars? BTW, you'd probably get a lot more respect if you didn't say that Pokemon was for little kids. 

The DS needs RPGS.  There are barely enough as it is!  FFIII was the first great one, Spectrobes looks pretty good, and Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are going to be the boat rockers.  There are also Lunar Knights, which my friend loves, Magical Starsign, which looks ok, Izuna, which looks decent, Animal Crossing, one of the best games ever, Chocobo Tales, which I'm unsure about, and finally Contact, which looks awesome!  These are all well and good, but there's always room for more.  The DS is the perfect handheld for RPGs.  Luckily, we're getting DQIX later!!!

You'll have to talk to the Japanese about that one.  They've mastered it.

Jump:  Ultimate Stars looks incredible.  I'm going to import it ASAP.  And I saw a Naruto fighting game in Best Buy during Spring Break, and it was an import.

Hey, a Street Fighter 2 port would be perfect for the DS!  And a Super Smash Bros. DS would rule, as well.

there are a lot of good games u just not interested in them. lets see theres a brotheres in arms or medal of honor that looks like socom 1. on ds coming out.

pkmn games are not just ds look at others in the past gb gbc gba they all had pkmn games because they were like GTA for any console system. it takes about 400 hours just to beat the game completely.

zelda games are not that strong on the hand helds but they rock.

i think we need more fps games...

no there are good games check out custom robo or zelda ph when ever iit comes out.
