At one point, new SSBB threads had been cluttering the forum and pushing discussion about other topics off the first page. Since this is the Wii forum, not the SSBB forum, we needed to do something to limit the creation of new threads about SSBB. So for now, all discussion must take place either in the sticky or in the game's forum, which is linked to in the first post of the sticky.
