No UFC for us? Very dissapointed...

The new UFC game will be coming out early next year for PS3 and 360 owners while we are left in the dark over on the Wii. Now, I know that the Wii isn't the most powerful system out there, but could it not handle a UFC game? MMA is growing to unbelieveable heights and is as big I would say as pro wrestling. The devs could have most likely GREATLY profited off of bringing this game to the Wii as well, even if they had to dumb it down a little or write it from the ground up for Wii only. Atleast they could have ported it over to the PS2 as well if they had to invest resources in doing such a thing.

*sigh* I'm a huge UFC/MMA fans and the games are awesome all the way back to the first one on Dreamcast. I'd love to play this game, but I'm NOT buying a 360 or PS3 for this one title. To have the largest install base (by far), you'd think the Wii would get a little more love.

Ah due i dnt know aht you talking about but ufc 2009 undisputed is coming out for ps3 xbox360 and the wii but not the same game tho like different just like star wars unleashed for xbox360 they made it to a more funner kids type theye will make one i read up on it on ign....

The articles I read said 360 and PS3 only. I'll check into it a little more. And the guy a couple of posts above me... fighting sucks? Are you serious? So you don't play Brawl, huh? Since fighting sucks and all...

I'm not a fan of UFC and I don't think the game would be any good on the wii

Thats called Mounting when a bloke is on top of another(yes it sounds gay People watch 11 sweaty blokes chasing a ball, I like watching half naked, sweaty women throwing balls at each other(Volleyball). I love watching women who do MMA and just beat each other senseless. Each person has various tastes.

I really didn't ask for everyone's opinions on if they hate MMA. If you do, that's your perogative. There are a ton of people who love the UFC, evident by how much the sport has grown over the years. It's bigger than the NHL and NASCAR. And the Wii has the largest userbase of all consoles this gen, yet we don't get a UFC game? This is the point I am trying to make. Even the Gamecube had a UFC game.

We all are aware of the Wii's lack of power BTW to the guy who referred to the Wii as a toaster. Do you think we enjoy missing out on the best ports this gen, settling for ports of years old games instead? Oh well, atleast we have many great exclusives, something the PS3 fans can't say.

The Wii may well have the biggest install base, but do you really believe for a second that the wii market crosses over significantly with the MMA market?

Remember Wii gamers get this sports title and 360/ps3 owners dont, so its all equal in the end, anyway!:)
