I've been down on the Wii for a little while. Honestly it's been kinda dissapointing that the Wii hasn't lived up to it's potential game wise. Yes there are some truly fantastic games for it, and I'm glad I bought it (I camped out for it on launch night)but not nearlty as many as I would have hoped. Especially with twice as many Wiis sold nowas PS3 or XBOX you would think there would be more good games comming out for it. I'm not talking cheap ports of party games or PSP titles.VC is even dying, but it IS backwards compatible, which opens the Wii up to hundreds of GameCube games you can now getsuper cheap. In the last few weeks I played through Rogue Squadron III, Sonic Adventure II, Gladius, Resident Evil 0, and Metroid Prime 2. I got all of them for 10 dollars or less and had a great time doing it. I'm waiting for my copies of Gun (new in shrink wrap - 6 bucks) and Sonic Heroes (used for 8 bucks) in the mail. This is the cheapest Cube games have ever been, so if you think the Wii doesn't have enough good games to play look through the GameCube library, there are tons of great games and they're dirt cheap to boot!

I attempted to buy Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door a couple of months ago and it wasn't cheap. It cost $50 dollars at GameCity. Only the third party games for the cube a cheap. I use the ganmecube feature of the Wii sometimes with the 7 games I own for the Gamecube.

Its hard to find many GC games nowadays, many of the quality titles were hard to find even back when they first came out.

Do you have 007 NightFire? Might be a good look at if you're looking for a 4-player shooter...

Also, Super Smash Bros. Melee could well be worth it for a true multiplayer experience. As far as the game goes, I prefer it over Brawl.

Thats odd. Usually games for an obsolete system aren't still priced as new. or w/e

Yeah I know that. I thought that there was some error with the pricing system, but the store clerk said that they chose that price for that game.

Seriously just go to Ebay people. Sorry NO GameCube game costs 100 dollars.No. It's the beauty of the digital age. Tried google shopping? Type in the name of a game, click shopping, then lowest price plus shipping in the search parameters. Bam. Amazon? Craigs list? the Internet? How is it that the more "advanced" we become as a societythe dumber the people in it get? NO GameCube game costs 100 DOLLARS .... NO! I didn't make it up, all the games I bought and played the last few weeks were all 10 bucks or less.

Actually no, I changed my mind. I should have never made this post. I'm glad most people out there are too dumb to know how Ebay or Amazon work. That's why I was able to win auctions for all those games so cheap. People like the ones who posted here would never go bid on a game because they don't understand it and wouldn't bother. Lol that's actually great for me and all the other people who know how to use the Internet, because it makes games cheaper for us. Over 100 dollars for a GameCube game? Not even if it had a bag of blow stashed in the game case. Now I know exactly whyGameCube games are cheap. It's not due to a lack of demand, it due to a lack of knowledge and ability by the game buying public. Thank all of you for making my games cheap.

Some of the prices of the games (like MGS ts) make me glad the Wii isn't my only system.

I got Geist and Timesplitters 2 last year and was pleasantly surprised. I really dig them.
