No, it means nothing. All it shows is that Reg has respect for other companies and the games they make.
Also, who said there was only gonna be one more brawl character?

Last Brawl Character?
Wtf.
Anyways, Idoubt it, the Halo graphics would have to be crappified to the max to work on the Wii, and annoying gamers would not stop whining, and of course 360 fanboys will laugh at it and call it the "Gaylo" version of Halo.

I don't think he was talking about 3rd party characters. He just said hidden and unrevealed. that doesn't necessarily mean 3rd party.
I don't think Halo fanboys would buy the Wii if Nintendo releases a Halo game for it, they would still prefer the Xbox because of the graphics.Thiago26792If they were true Halo fanboys, then they would probably just buy the Wii for the game just like they did with their 360, only buying it for Halo 3,...

No, my bad, I did meant to say 3rd partyHalo = Xbox
I don't think that it's going to ever come to the Wii. It might be nice if it did, but I doubt that would happen. It would be nice to get Bungie to make a Wii game though. I'm sure they're all sick of making Halo games and are looking to branch out now that they left Microsoft.Ospov
I think bungie was makinga halo game for the ds but I think it got cancelled or something
Yeah it seems fake because on the top screen of the ds it's noticable that the ds was off :o
well it looks fake to me but maybe I'm wrong:?

The simple fact is the Wii just isn't powerful enough to run Halo 3 or Bioshock. I don't just mean HD output either.
The low specs of the Wii are a double edged sword.
On one hand it means we can all buy the system cheap from the start and Nintendo makes a profit on every Wii sold. The bad side is the Wii will never get versions of games like Bioshock, Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, Oblivion, Call of Duty 4, Dead Rising, Grand Theft Auto 4, Halo 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, Orange Box etc that would be anything near quality of those found on PC, 360 and PS3.
As a true gamer, it must be hard missing out on games like those. At least the Wii has a cool controller. Nintendo probably didn't give the Wii high specs because they would've had to sell the Wii at a loss like MS and Sony had to do with their consoles.
I think all Wii owners should accept the Wii for what it is. A platform for Nintendos first party games and quirky third party titles. Forget about high-end games like Bioshock and Halo 3 that require lots of processing power and RAM.

there really was a Halo DS though even if thats not it, they really got as far as the beta development of Halo DS.
Never say never, the graphics can be tweaked a bit or better yet an exclusive Halo can be made for the Wii from the ground up!!!The simple fact is the Wii just isn't powerful enough to run Halo 3 or Bioshock. I don't just mean HD output either.

It'll never happen. Halo coming out on Wii would be like Metroid Prime coming out on 360. Microsoft owns the Halo franchise, not Bungie. Bungie say they are independent but their games will still be published by Microsoft. The only difference is Bungie is now second party instead of first.
You made a comment about graphics. I said Wii couldn't run these games because it doesn't have the processing power to govern the complex AI, physics, vehicle combat and large environments or track deformation found in games like Sega Rally and Motorstorm or hundreds of zombies on screen like in Dead Rising.
Wii doesn't have the processing power to deal with all that information.
Playingthese games on Wii would be like playing Metroid Prime 3 on a GBA.

??? Well actually since Bungie split Microsoft, the company can't just make more Halo games. Dude Halo 3 doesn't even look that much better than Halo 2. And if you've played Prime 3, you'd know it's a capable system when in the right, dedicated hands. The game was stunning and was running at double the speed of Halo 3, BioShock, Gears of War, etc. If their next game ran at 30fps, it could look twice as good as Prime 3. Oh my god. Why do people on this board keep trying to turn what I said into a discussion about graphics? How many more times do I have to say it? I WASN'T TALKING ABOUT GRAPHICS!
It's surprising how much value Wii owners put on graphics. I thought you guys didn't care about having good graphics?
Halo 3 looks a lot better than Halo 2. There's no way the original Xbox would be able to run Halo 3. Even the campaign mode in Halo 3has epic battles with literally dozens of vehicles involved. Each following it's own AI pattern and adopting to the changing battle. Then there's the online part and the revelation that is saved films. Do some research on the saved film feature in Halo 3. There's no way that could've been done on the original Xbox or Wii. Have you even played Halo 3?
I haven't played Metroid Prime 3 but I do own and love the first 2 Prime games on GameCube. Say what you want but Prime games have never been noted for large scale epic battles and complex enemy AI.
When I said Wii couldn't run these games I was talking about processing power and RAM used for gameplay, NOT RENDERING GRAPHICS. That's done by the 360's custom built ATI graphics card.
Even gamespot. One of the harshest reviewers around these days agree. Halo 3 9.5.......Prime 3 8.5..........
I am getting a Wii soon though and I'm looking forward to playing Prime 3 but I don't think it'll be better than Halo 3. That's my opinion. I don't think Metroid games are better than Halo games and the vast majority of gamers out there will agree with me. There's a reason it's one of the most successful franchises EVER.

Dude, whatever. Yes, I have played Halo 3 and quite frankly, it looks like poop compared to the other 360 games. It's not even running true HD. lolAnd who cares what the "vast majority" thinks? So by that logic Britteny Spears>any band? The "vast majority" of people are pretty stupid and ignorant.

And why did a talk about graphics and processing power turn into a "OMG GAMESPOT SAIZ HALO 3>>>PRIME 3 LOL"
And if you're talking about JUST processing power like you said, BioShock could be done on the Xbox. :|
