I am new to the wii..i just got it and i was wondering why it makes a clicking noise when i first put a game in it and also makes a clicking noise when i go from the game to the dash board? also i was making a weired buzzing noise when i first put a game in...Are all these things normal...
ya mine does the same i dont know why!! when i put disks in my wii and i'm playing the game, i hear a buzzing sound... it didnt do that about 8 months ago or something. I know that the wii is supposed to make a sound like its breathing, but it makes a buzzing noise. its not really loud, but im just a little worried about it. does anyone knoww hy it does that? send me a pm please :D

wow really mine is doing that now too..i dont know if there is anything wrong but is yours making a buzzing and a slight rattling noise when the did is spinning?
The same thing happened to mine back in like February and the buzzing noise was actually the system scratching my disks. It ruined my zelda so you guys should check your disks periodically to make sure its not doing that.

my wii just kind of makes a buzzing sound so i dont rweally no whats going on, but it has made that sound ever since i got it and i have beat twlight princess and trauma center, and sonic, batlle revoultion, and i still have a perfectly fine wii, so maybe its just how load the wii is!
mine wii only does it on one game. HEAT SEAKER-Piece of ****** ****. its so bad its fun. no joke. But yeah, my wii also does it on gc games. like itll be fine, but then ill go to a certain area of the game and itll like make schratching noises. its fine probly, my gc always made noises, but it never sounded like a jet engine like my wii does
