Hi. Today while i was playing my wii i decided to play without the remote sleeve. The sleeve just looked kinda ugly and bulky so i took it off. I like playing without the remote sleeve because the remote feels slick not sticky and it doesnt weigh as much.

does anyone else do this too?

I use it since it deals a less damaging blow to something I may hit and it makes it more comfortable to hold. Changing batteries and syncing are a pain, though.

Those sleeves are hideous, without 'em the remote is really pretty with its glossy face and compact dimensions. The remotes look almost obscene with their rubbers on, can't stand 'em.

Changing batteries and swap motion plus in/out becomes annoying. On top of that the Wiimote is way too fat for my grip with the sleeve.

How on earth would the remote be too fat to grip unless you have burger-king commercial hands?

I only use the jacket when using M+, feels nice.

I like using the WiiMote with the sleeve.

Somehow, it just feels awkward without it. But that's just me...

I don't use the sleeve simply because I never got around to putting on again after changing the batteries. And It's a pain to put in new batteries and synch it to your Wii.

Everyone who is complaining about having to synch/replace batteries...are you kidding me? That's the laziest thing I've ever heard. It literally takes one second to remove the jacket.

I like the jacket. It feels more comfortable, and honestly...I like chewing on it when I get frustrated. Much better than throwing the controller against the wall.

I usually use it. I prefer it when I'm holding the remote sideways as it doesn't hurt my hands. Of course I take it off when putting it in other Wii accesories.

I've never used the sleeve once in my entire life. As soon as I took my Wiimote out of the box, I took the sleeve off and haven't looked back.

99.9% of the time i dont use it. but i didnt use the thumb strap for the DS and even so only took it out when i bought a case that wouldnt "support" it :P

besides, other people that play on my wii use it, and when i'm doing "risky" stuff (like swordplay :P), i might use it.

not to mention that it saved my TV from my 7-year old cousin at least 5 times in a single day

EDIT: wait, you're talking about the jacket? i keep my motion+ in it, so whenever i'm using the motion+, i have it. when i play something that requires big movements (most stuff from wii sports, for example), i use it. saved my wiimote lots of times before. and it gives a nice grip to it.

and if you're complaining about taking it off to switch batteries, then dont. you just have to pull the lower part enough to pull the batteries and then put it back. when you go to the bathroom, do you take your pants off completely? that's the idea :P
