[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"] It's only got 8 levels because the first level is going to be the tutorial level
So that's like just under 9 hours?
That's not bad for a shooter, I mean I doubt many people will do the speed run through it.

High Voltage had stated we're getting something BIG out of The Conduit. With practically nothing innovative in it, very low multiplayer game modes, and little replay value to The Conduit in terms of single player, I'm not seeing the big thing High Voltage promised us.
And why does it seem that FPS games get shorter and shorter over time? I mean look at Goldeneye and Perfect Dark compared to like Call of Duty, Halo 3, Metroid Prime 3 (yes I know it's an FPA), etc. And nothing was stated about multiple difficulty levels for The Conduit either. I think 9 hours or so, even though there are a couple little things in addition to it, is not a satisfying length.
1. MP3 had well over 20 hours of gameplay, I don't know why you're complaining... :?
2. I don't remember HVS stating that The Conduit will only support 3 modes, but that they wanted to perfect those before seeing if they could add more.
3. They stated during demos that the difficulty was set to easy, so it's safe to assume there WILL be different difficulty levels.
The Conduit isn't really all that outstanding, but it is still a good effort by a small 3rd party, and it really stands out because of the dearth of available options on the Wii. Still, that's not to say it won't be an enjoyable game, but it's definitely no Gears 2.
