Not as bad as having a yellow DS screen :(illbitcrusher
Perchance, are you using regular glass cleaner or one of those off-the-shelf computer wipes to clean them? (the alcohol or ammonia in either of these will cause LCDs to yellow)
How is that possible? A yellow ds screen.izayoiGoogle yellow ds screen there are quite a few things about it but i'm not too sure what causes it. As for the yellow control stick thats just the chemicals used. Nintendo have done it since the NES days but having a while yellow NES is quite unsightly.

I don't wipe my DS screen. I do believe it has something to do with the carbon in the screens and it also only appears to happen to first batch DS litesBuy a Wiimote/nunchuck skin from decalgirl.com.Duckman5
I should get one of those
How bad yellow is it?
There was a webpage devoted to that and even offered up an explation that is quite true. It happened to certain pc brands.
A bad batch of plastics with a defect due to a mixing error will turn yellow when exposed to the sunlight over a period of time. Body oils can do it to. But mostly it is sunlight or just light in general.
I expect the next batches of wii nunchuck joystick plastics to not have the error or take a lot longer for it to show up.
This happens to most exposed white/light coloured plastics. The softer looking plastic and rubber usually. Not hard plastic like on the Wii itself.
My DS shoulder buttons have the same thing, although I wipe them off regularily so it never gets that bad.
Just a natural discolouration that can't really be stopped.
