I'm interested in this, but I was wondering:

1. Do you have to buy rechargeable batteries to put in the packs?

2. Does the grip on the packs feel good when you're holding the wiimote?

3. What's the charging time?  Play time?

Don't even think about getting it. They are third party. They are more expensive. Period. Get Energizer rechargeables for like 25 bucks and you know they will last long and are a trusted company. I have them and they last long and never give me any problems.

HERE

4 pack of Energizer 2500's

Don't waste money on the charging station that doesn't last as long per charge and doesn't last as long over it's lifetime.

See when you have a rechargable battery it has a certain number of charges and doesn't know the difference between how much is left. That means that if the battery is charged 95% and then recharged it still charges the same way as a completely empty battery. So every single time you stick it back on it's "dock" to rest you're wasting a charge.

The AA's I showed you last the longest and then you recharge them in 8 hours (since you have 2 sets it's not a big deal to just keep one set charged all the time) also it's cheaper to buy new batteries for the Energizer charger then it is to buy new batteries for that docking station

Lastly you can use the AA's for everything. Since Nintendo is having Guitar Hero and Bongos on the way it's more useful to have a battery that can be used in everything instead of a battery that can only be used in the Wiimote.

I bought the charge station at Circuit City a few weeks ago. I am very satisfied with it.

To answer your q's:

1. It comes with 2 batterypacks

2. The grip is cool, it's definatly not a deterrent of any kind

3. Initially there is a 3-4 hour charge time to fully charge it. After that you can use it for many hours of play and it only takes roughly 90-120 minutes to charge.

The only thing that I didn't like about it is this: I have Wii skins on my Wii-motes and I had to take them off because of how they recharge. There is a connector on the back of the battery cover where it connects to the connector in the change station and because of that you either have to cut a hole in your Wiimote skin or do like I did and just keep them off.
