Nyko extends the 3DS' battery life with Power Pak+

However you feel about Nyko's quality of accessories is one thing, but it is nice to see someone attacking the concern of the battery life of the 3DS. According to Nyko, with the Power Pak+ (if 3D is off, Wi-Fi is off, Brigthness is low, etc.), you should expect around 16 hours (max). With features all the way up, it should be around 5-8 hours. It launches alongside the 3DS on March 27th for the US release and the Charge Base releases a week later.

Oh I apologize. The Charge Kit was the only thing I saw on the website. The actual battery by itself is available on launch. And you do not necessarily need the Charge Base that comes with it since both accessories use the standard 3DS AC adapter to charge. But I would believe that the battery would be in the Gamestop store. I called mine earlier after the post and they said that they would have some on launch day.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but isn't that the battery pack screwed onto the back? If so, it doesn't look too bad. I just wish Nintendo decided to make the battery length that long to begin with. . . .

Looks promising! I must see reviews first, but definetly a steal if it does as advertised for 30$. I'll stick it out without it for a few weeks and determine my gaming patterns to see if I'll need one that badly

I just ordered this as a just in case thing, if the battery in the 3DS proves to be worthy enough I will cancel this order.
