Unplug and re-plug the console. It should work. If not try re-syching.

The Wii and Wiimote may have lost their synch. Try these two things:

First unplug the Wii, and then plug it back in. I have no idea why, but sometimes that works when the Wii/Mote lose their synch, even when doing it manually doesn't.

If after powering it back up, it still doesn't have it's synch, I'd suggest manually resynching it via the red button underneath the "flap" of the Wii and the red button where the batteries go.

You could just have a defective unit.

Since you just bought it you can return it for a new one or your money back. I can tell you all about rechargeable batter ies being better if you want to hear it all. If not I wont lol

Well if you just bought it and it's defective you can get your money back, now one sec while I find my usual post about rechareable batteries lol Can't find the post so here goes again lol

Please click HERE

I plus many others have this set and it works perfectly.

The reason that rechargeable batteries are better then charging stations is because batteries don't have brains so each time you set it on the holder it charges. Now that means that each time you set it down it uses one charge because it doesn't understand if it's been use for 12 hours or 15 mins. You end up wasting a lot of charges.

Wth rechargeable batteries you only charge them when you need to charge them.

Either way a battery has 500 charges before it shows the signs of getting older and 1000 overall, you'd blow by those a lot faster with a charge station

Also think of the add ons like the Balance Board and such, those things will need to be powered and you just have to go out and buy another pack of batteries to charge.

Don't worry.. i have the same thing. First of all the batteries make sure there put in right. And just to tell you, you have to charge it. Just move it around a bit until the blue light comes on. But every time you move it wait atleast 3 seconds after because it migt take a short while b4 the blue light comes on. And also try not to constantly recharge the battries. Do it only when the batterries have completely died out. Hope this helps.

That's not the problem. The blue light on the charge station turns on but what the real problem is that after the remote is supposedly fully charged I press any button on my remote and itr's as if there aren't even batteries in it.

Put the batteries in the charger and plug the charger into one of your outlets in the house.

I had the same problem. It turns out that the connector on the bottom of the battery pack did not extend far enough down to reach the connector in the remote (the one with the dimple). I just used needle-nose pliers to bow it out slightly further, and it works fine now.

It wasn't obvious, because the charging station only uses the connectors on the back of the remote battery pack, not the bottom.

I hope this helps you as well.
