ok i think a game like elder scrolls on wii would rock, i mean it doesnt have to be the big shiny game that it was when it came out, but just using some of the texture tricks they used in galaxy and programed right, it could happen, and even if it isnt that game, i still think a game like it would be awesome, especialy with using the wiimote as a sword, but not redsteel style, like way more realistic, it would be awesome, because for me oblivion was really good, bu for some reason the combat kinda lacked wii could really make that great, im not asking for the same graphics or the same game for that matter, could even be the next one or an improved predicesor, but wii needs a good action rpg that utalizes controlls, am i really that crazy for thinking this is possible?

If Bethesda made an Elder Scrolls game for Wii, I would be all over that in a second. I love those games.

yeah, and the contolls dont even have to mimic your motions totaly, even an improved loztp mechanic would be cool, and using nuncuck as a shield, and using the bow would be so much easier, on the 360 version play it is hell unless u are really used to it

I had my share of Elder Scrolls with Morrowind. I would like something like it though, only not full of poor programming and exploits. I heard oblivion was no better. And don't bother with the 'then don't play that way' explanations either because I don't buy it. If any game was attempted to be sold and on the main menu you could choose unlimited gold, health, or intelligence, I think people would think it was a joke. At least make me type in a code to 'cheat'. Literally, that series has to be the most popular game of the poorest programmed AI, merchantile, and play mechanics in the history of gaming.

BUT, don't get me wrong, I would love to see someone steal the idea and make it work right instead of letting Bethesda keep screwing it up. If it is on the Wii, all the better.

agreed, oblivion really isnt too bad, teh only way to get all those exploits with out trying is to do alot of research, but all in all wii needs a huge open ended rpg, with good action, and if it cant be a huge world or huge story throw in teh online play, duels would rock
