yes, ocarina of time is awesome and of course some things are going to be new for this remake...we'll see how much stuff is added.
but if you bought a 3ds to play with the 3d off then thats your choice.. does it hurt your eyes or something? why call it a gimmick?
I'll say it again because no one else seems to... the biggest problem with Ocarina of Time is the insanely limited visibility... i.e. character/enemy pop-in. Everything is invisible like five feet out from Link! Majora's Mask is actually still playable because the pop-in is not nearly so bad. (not to mention the textures being a few steps up from the mud in OoT)
looking at the pictures it is amazing how great the game is looking. OoT was great back in the day but some things have been drastically improved visual wise while still keeping true to the original look and concept of the original.

they had big TV's with big sound back in 1998?
lol... back in 1998?... It wasn't THAT long ago. Technology has changed but there were big TVs with big sound in the 1990s.[QUOTE="alexh_99"][QUOTE="joser1215"]. In all honesty I don't think it will be the same as playing on a big TV with big sound, TankZorz

lol... back in 1998?... It wasn't THAT long ago. Technology has changed but there were big TVs with big sound in the 1990s. They were no where close to how common they are now. and by "big tv's" i mean like 40-50 inch. i remember playing zelda on a 25-27 inch tv, but by the way the TC worded it sounded like he meant BIG screens.[QUOTE="alexh_99"][QUOTE="joser1215"]. In 1998 we had a 19" television and played 4-way split-screen games on it.[QUOTE="joser1215"]. In all honesty I don't think it will be the same as playing on a big TV with big sound, alexh_99

lol you talk like 1998 was 100 years ago. I was like 17 back then and most people had 27/32 inch TVs at least. I knew alot of people with 50+ inch but they were projection and were kinda dark looking.[QUOTE="alexh_99"][QUOTE="joser1215"]. So i guess it all boils down to what your definition of "Big" is...[QUOTE="TankZorz"][QUOTE="alexh_99"]lol... back in 1998?... It wasn't THAT long ago. Haha, its funny because I would do the 4-way splitscreen on a 27" TV about 10 years ago and now I can't even stand playing 4-way MarioKart splitscreen on a 42". It's weird how technology grows on people.they had big TV's with big sound back in 1998?
