Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass, or Twilight?

I couldn't fit Twilight Princess in.

So, out of these five Zelda games, (The 3D ones.) which one is your favorite? Mine goes like this:

1. Twilight Princess (9.9)

2. Majora's Mask (9.6)

3. Ocarina of Time (9.4)

4. The Wind Waker (9.3)

5. Phantom Hourglass (9.2)

The two Cel-shaded Zelda games could've been so much better if they took away the tedious sailing aspect. Overall, all five of these titles are AAA to me, and I love each and every one of them.

I'm sorry but i dont see how this is even a vote, ocarina of time is by far the best zelda game of all time. Revolutionary, epic and compelling. nothing can compare.bluntmastaslaya

ocarina of time is my favorite game

OoT, legendary! i love this game, and thats why it's one of my favorites of all time. truly the most memories and most replayed

Majora's Mask, had manyyy memories with this game! wasn't that great of a game but it was fun from what i remember

Here's my favorites.

1. Ocarina of Time (An almost perfect game)

2. Wind Waker (I loved everything about this game except for the tedious sailing)

3. Majora's Mask (Enjoyed it, except for the whole "3 days" thing)

4. Phantom Hourglass (A great handheld sequel to WW)

5. Twilight Princess (Decent game, just found some of it boring)

Wind Waker is the only Zelda I've been able to really get into. I finished Twighlight Princess but only because it was one of the first two games I bought for Wii, and I stalled out in the first five hours of Ocarina cause I got bored. I do love WW though, played through it three times.

Ocarina Of Time hands down! It's my favourite game ever, tying with Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition.

The Majorica's Mask. Then Twilight Princess. Then Windwaker.

I've never played Phantom Hourglass.

For its time, Ocarina of Time was an absolutely amazing, revolutionary game... however, that time was almost a decade ago. I recently played it again a short while ago and while it was still a fun game, I found it no more enjoyable than the more modern Zeldas. I know there are a lot of people who have actually played it recently and still think it's the best game ever, which is fine, but I gotta confess that I wonder how many people are going on what it was like when they played it ten years ago.

Anyway, I'm gonna have to go with Twilight Princess. I loved every part of it, start to finish.

I'll pass judgement on Majora's Mask after I beat it. When I first played Ocarina of Time I was so amazed of how good it was. I loved the cel-shaded graphics and I even loved sailing. PH had amazing control, the same type of art and wi-fi. TP was kind of a let down, aiming arrows with the wiimote is fun, but other than that really noting new.

Twilight Princess is my personal favorite.I wasn't a fan of Ocarina of Time.I have yet to play Majora's Mask.Wind Waker felt more flawed than Twilight Princess,but still a great game.And Phantom Hourglass was great,though isn't really in my top Zelda titles.

If you're asking what I think is the best Zelda,however,Oracle of Ages has that honor from me.

While TP may have better graphics and some better dungeons, it did not have everything OoT had. The use of music in the game through the ocarina was not there, except for blowing on grass which does not really count. The use of magic power was not in TP either, which was dissapointing. I really wanted to see Link use magic for din's fire or to power up his blade. Don't get me wrong, I love TP, but it was not nearly as flawless as Ocarina.

I thought the counter attacks made things way too easy, especially against the Dark Nuts. On top of that, throwing weapons at the Dark Nuts also made things a lot easier. I think it was good Twilight Princess got rid of it.

I credit Ocarina of Time for making me love video games. It is by far my favorite game of all time. It is a great story combined with great action combined with great puzzles combined with great music with the perfect ammount of comic relief.

After that I'd have to say that Twilight Princess beats Majora's Mask by a small margine, followed by Wind Waker. I don't have a DS so I havn't played Phantom Hourglass

I haven't played Phantom Hourglass or Majora's Mask.

1. Ocarina of Time is the superior game simply because it set the standard for every 3D Zelda game.
2. Twilight Princess is a great runner-up... it's a souped-up OoT.
3. Majora's Mask is the black sheep of the 3D Zeldas... but it's a fantastic one.
4. Wind Waker was one of my least favorite Zeldas only because of the sailing... otherwise, it's wonderful.

I've never played Phantom Hourglass and probably never will... don't care about handhelds.

for me windwaker takes it. the game is juat an absolute pleasure to play. im in the odd situation though of having played WW before OOT. i can certainly respect that OOT was a bigger leap in terms of the move to 3d and the new fighting system but WW just had that extra level of polish and sheen which made all the difference imho. i suppose OOT just didnt have as big an impact on me as a result.

personally id rate them as follows

1) Windwaker

2) OOT

3) MM

4)TP

5) Phantom hourglass......which unfortunately wa an absolute disaster imho. the top 4 are close but personally id rate this a 7. i love the controls and the gameplay is great and the periphery dungeons are great...hence the 7. but that main dungeon was the most frustrating and annoying piece of crap ive seen in a zelda game....well ever. every time i had to go to it...my spirit died a little. that dungeon was just anti-fun imho....absolutely terrible. remove that dungeon and id rate this higher than TP.....but that dam thing really just killed the game for me.

2) Wind Waker (Sailing got kind of boring after a while but it wuz still really fun)

4) Ocarina of Time (Ya ya i know. It revolutionized gaming. About a decade ago. I've played it a couple times and it's just ok to me now. It's just ok)

5) Phantom Hourglass (Haven't played it but it looks alright)

OOT - Perfect in everyway

The wind waker - A nice and different feel Zelda has to offer.

Twilight - While i loved it, i also hated it for being so damn easy.

Phantom Hourglass is the bomb! The DS totally made Zelda feel fresh and new again. That game is the sole reason I picked up a DS. The touch screen is really innovative and exactly what the franchise needs. That being said, I don't think I ever got into a Zelda game more the Ocarina of Time... played throught it like 10 times. It's the ultimate badass game, however Twilight Princess kind of expanded upon it.. threw in motion controls and wolf transformations for a really fun game. Wind Waker was really fun too... I beat that one a couple of times. I actually love the sailing aspect of the game. Also all of the handheld Zelda's in the last 10 years or so were pretty incredible. The Minish Cap, Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Season, Link's Awakening DX.... all awesome games. Something has to be said for the top-down view from the original and A Link to the Past. I don't think I can ever decide on a favorite game. But the coolest story for a Zelda game definitely goes to Majora's Mask. The dark tone of that game was awesome, and I loved how it twisted all these characters from Ocarina. Plus transforming into a Deku Scrub, Goron and Zora was a phenomenal innovation that pushed the N64 into new realms graphically.

#1 Majora's Mask: Imo i think this is the hardest 3d zelda game, the time factor was awsome. I love the freakin emphasis on minigames. Love the masks.

#2 Ocarina of Time: Epic game, great for it's time, hell still great, i fell like going to the water temple lol. One of the reason why i put this game second cause it wasn't as challenge as MM and plus it didn't have the loz theme song. I'll admit, of the 3d zeldas, this had the toughest boss fight.

#3 Twilight Princess: This game was pretty epic as well, but i just didn't get that zelda vibe or any vibe when i played this game. The whole plot twist with Zant and Ganon could have been better. I do love this game though.

#4 Wind Waker: Pretty good game, i knew the game would be decent, it's zelda of course, at first i hated the art style but it grew on me kind of. It got a cool vibe when i played this game, reason why this game is 4th because of the tedious sailing, the tricfore hunt and the uber easy last boss, easiest of the 3d zeldas imo.

#5 Phantom Hourglass: Never played it, but i might in the future.
