Ocarina of Time Secret?? Dying Soldier!!!! (for OOT fanatics only)

I was just told there is a scene in OOT that MANY people missed on multiple playthroughs, me being one of them. I did a search and found the dying soldier scene!!!:o

Seriously, i played my OOT file for YEARS and never knew about this, considering that i thought i new every inch and texture of that game this is a shock to me lol

I can understand the thinking that it's a hack. I mean, Link has nothing equipped when at the point he should at least have the sword and one C-Button item equipped.

He is playing an emulator, probably hacked his way to that point

You have to be jokin with me with this, I've experienced this when I played it through the very first time. I explored all over this game, so I guess thats why I found it and not suprised.

i remember that soldier, just not that scene.

It is because it has to be right after zelda gives you the Ocarina, and before you go to the temple.

If you do it before or after that, the scene wont happen

I actually saw that the last time I played OOT, a couple of months ago. I don't think I ever noticed it back in the day though.

I saw that. I was little, and did not know where to go lol, so i went back there and saw him.

There is a secret scene though that was removed from the game. Im not allowed to say how to see it though using an emulator, but just check youtube.

i understand this, and ive seen it, but i just dont see what the big deal is... it was there to help direct people who maybe quit playing after zelda is fleed and forgot where to go or what they were doing i mean the death isnt really a new thing, i guess its kinda... i dunno, different that an everyday citizen guard died, and that its got a little shock value to it, it almost reminds me of RE...

Me too I played this countless times and never ran into this scene, I always go straight to the temple because the following scene is so badass.

Well in the video Link had no sword, shield, items, or money. Plus he only had 3 hearts. That looks pretty suspicious to me...

Yeah same with me. I remember going back there just to see what was back there, but I've never seen this scene before. I guess that would explain why I've never seen it, once you get the Ocarina the first thing you think to do is go to the Temple of Time. I never would have thought to go back there and talk to that gaurd again. This makes me want to play OOT again just to see this scene, I'm going to start a new file.

He doesn't have the kokiri blade and shield equiped....you can't unequip them...fake.flclempire

I was just going to say the same thing but you beat me to it :P. I'm going to start a new file to comfirm if this is true or not. Once I find out I'll make another post.

There are alot of people confirming this in this thread, unless they are lying i'd say this is very true :)

The reason he has no sword is because he is usung an emulator, you can go wherever you want with an emulator without the mandatory items.

I've just confirmed that this is infact true. Like alexh_99 said, you have to go speak to the gaurd right after Zelda gives you the Ocarina of Time but before you go to the Temple of Time.I can't believe I never noticed this before I've played through OOT so many times. It's still cool though.J_Ford

I found that scene from the first time i played Ocarina of Time! I am crazy for exploration and i always explore everything in a new area before i begin to start a mission or something!
