The Wii...

Has it been 10 years already? I think that the reason that Ocarina of Time is still considered the best game ever is that because no one saw anything like it and made the francise popular, not to mention it was in 3-D!!!!

It was probably the best 2D to 3D port in history.

I have it on the Zelda: Collector's Edition. This disc is the single greatest bargain I've ever had in my life :D:D

It's what made me a Zelda fan man! I.. well I cried  because it brought to a new perspective of gaming I never would've imagined I'd see in my wildest dreams!

All hail Ocarina of Time!!111

I have the n64 collectors edition one(i also still have that cool box! though it's not in amazing condition) and i have it on the cube in the form of the collectors disc.  I really want to get the masters quest though, i've never played that.. which is too bad because i hear it has different dungeon designs.

Anyways, i just started playing it today on my n64.  I'm part way through the deku tree, i just took a few minutes break to come online.

i would play on my n64, but the issue is that the n64's res is way to low to look nice on my 1080P TV so i have to play my wii verion. It seriously looks like a pixelated blur lol. oh well i rly liked that game. What was the n64's output res. i think it was like 320x240 or something.

I have the N64 gold cartridgegamer6464

I also have this one.

I remember how exciting it was to get that coveted gold cartridge, even though it lacked the brilliant shine of the NES Zelda.

I love Ocarina of Time. Oh, Christmas '98 -- so many fond memories. I remember basically every kid who owned an N64 in my entire town ended up getting OoT at the exact same time. At school we used to talk about it during recess.

I still like Link to the Past more though. :P

i have every version of it but my favorite would have to be the original gold N64 version, since its unchanged and still has the original fire temple music and symbols for the blocks and mirror shield that were taken out when they made the other versions. Its my favorite game ever, so many good memories playing it, and it was the inspiration for my hylian tattoo

Yeah this was a great game. For some reason I never got it on the N64 so i got the cool GC version that came when you pre ordered Wind Waker. It is defiantly one of my favorite games ever (Banjo Tooie steals the spotlight). I went to play the game and I am still amazed how big the world is and how there is so much to do. The game still looks great especially since I have it running in 480p.

Great Game. Mabey some day I will attempt to play in the Master Quest(is that what its called?) mode. I doubt I would get far since this game was really hard to me.

Such an amazing game! I remember getting it for the N64 back in middle school, it was really one of the first video games I actually aspired to play all the way through. I picked up Master's Quest with the preorder of Wind Waker. When I heard about the collectors disk for the cube, I jumped on that as soon as possible. So many awesome games, so much value... It is still the best game in my collection/ Now ten years later, I have played through Ocarina at least 8 times and it is still awesome every time!

I played it again recently (borrowed the Gamecube version from my friend) then after completing it thought "You know...this game is really overrated" and started playing Majora's Mask again :)

its still the same game yea but some of the original symbols such as the ones on the mirror shield and blocks were removed and replaced with different ones and the music in the fire temple had the Muslim chanting taken out of the background of the music. but other than very minor differences they are the same

I had all version except the VC and the gold catridge. I have Master Quest as well. It was like a few years ago that I know OOT had some changes in the N64 versions. I need the gold catridge and I'll have it.

The VC doesn't interest me.
