Twilight princess without a doubt. In ocarina of time, characters like the gorons got pulled off as chessy to me with their actions. In twilight, everything has a more serious tone to it. Yeah theres that questionably flamboyant mail man, but thats about it. Also I liked the controls in twilight princess *for the wii that is* better. The level design is about the same for both games. The music in twilight princess is better to me as well. Though one thing I do like better in ocarina of time, is the graphics. Twilight princess was really jaggy with or without component cables, and ocarina had a clean look to it.

home boi above me says the gorons were cheesy... dang well from the graphics of all of the other games on the 64 what do you think isnt cheesy. OoT gets it just because it is what it is. There are only a select few who think otherwise. dont get me wrong though i do like twilight princess... thats what im playin right now!

For me, TP is hands down the better contender. "Ocorina" of Time is a great game and will remain so for all time, but TP for me strikes all the right chords at all the right notes.

oh its gotta be TP even tho OOT was a great game and very groundbreaking TP was just more fun it actually delivered on the promise of a huge world to explore unlike OOT the controls kick so much ass in TP the graphics were a beauty to look at despite what a couple of above me say also the dungeons were great even though the bosses were too easy they were gigantic at least also i really loved when u had to help transport that covered wagon across Hyrule field and last but not least becoming a wolf certanatly put a diffrent spin on things in other words that game just kicked ass while OOT was just great for its time when nobody had really gotten 3D down quite right

OoT by a long shot.  Fot its time the graphics were far superior to anything else, the music matched every area perfectly and was enjoyable to listen to, the fast-paced adventure had me pinned to the screen for the whole game, the story was told wonderfully, riding Epona through the vast landscape anywhere you wanted to go pretty much right off the bat (which you couldn't do in TP), some of the most memorable moments in any video game, etc.  TP was good, but not up to that level.

No, I just got the wording wrong.  You couldn't explore Hyrule freely until the very end in TP.  In OoT, you could explore much of Hyrule really early in the game though you couldn't do it with Epona until later.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was the greatest game ever made. It was absolutely perfect. Twilight Princess suffered from many flaws and the tiring gameplay is a sure sign that the formula needs to be updated.

Ocarina obviously cause all zeldas later were copies of it but i think if they would had come out at the same time i would certanly be impressed with twilight princess but i dont think my 64 would had run it

sre you joking obviously ocarina of time was more chidly the same kid that played ocarina back then is now its 10 (i think) years older, and you can't use the controls to measure it cause ocarina of time practically created an easy intuitive way to play a 3d game and you cant compare the music neither cause almost 98% of twilight princess music it's taked from ocarina

Ocarina is the greatest game ever created and TP isn't close. It was a great game, but not on OoT's level.

Thats funny, cause when I first played OOT I thought it was copying off of A Link To The Past with the whole get the 3 whatevers and you get the Master Sword then collect several more whatevers to destroy gannon.   They always use the same formula.  But I always love it.  The most unique Zeldas (Zelda II and Majoras Mask) are also some of the least popular, cause people really don't like change.  You know if Nintendo did a completely different Zelda, you guys would all be complaining about how it doesn't feel Zeldaish.  Although to answer the question, I like Twlight Princess better.  Midna is a great character, and I love the Hyrule Theme, its way better than OOT's boring theme.

I won't choose, but what I did like about OoT is the fact that it doesn't take hours to actually get into the real meat of the game. As to which one is better, I don't feel like comparing right now.

ok now i have beaten TP. Now my perspective has totally changed. TP is a great game with a great story line. So is OoT though. Essentially they are the same game in a way. I mean ok You get some stuff, then you get the master sword, then you end up fighting and destroying Ganondorf. To me now they are equal. OoT is the like original great game for the 64. Where as TP is for the wii.
